  • This stunning villa offers the perfect blend of central location and peaceful retreat. Located in the heart of Basel, you are within walking distance of the old city and various cultural attractions.

    The villa offers space for 12 guests in total, which are distributed as follows:
    - 5 bedrooms with queen size bed
    - 1 bedroom with two single beds

    Guests have access to free public transportation during their stay, as well as discounted cultural activities through our complementary BaselCard.

    The property includes a fully equipped kitchen, as well as bed linen and towels for all guests.

    Booking includes free BaselCards for all guests, which grants access to free public transportation and reduced entrance to museums, the theatre and other activities.
    Guests must request BaselCards in advance to their arrival.

A beautiful and spacious townhouse in a great location - we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend for a group of friends. It’s less than 10 minutes to the river, where there are lovely coffee spots and restaurants.

The house is located in a convenient place that's both quiet and accessible by public transport. It's however too old and has problems that we didn't expect. * Exterior & Accuracy: * ⁠The exterior appearance of the house did not really match the listing photos. * Lighting & Safety: * ⁠The lighting in the staircase and living room was way too dim, making it unsafe to move around. * Electrical & Amenities: * Some rooms were without working electrical outlets. * Not every room was provided with an electric fan. * One of the rooms upstairs had no ceiling light and the basin had no running water. * None of the bedrooms was provided with a bin, and only one bathroom had a small bin. * There were only 2 shower rooms and one of them had no hooks or towel bars to hang clothes. * Pests & Cleanliness: There were mosquitoes and ants inside the kitchen. Security: * The garden door couldn't be securely locked. * Noise & Sleep Quality: The house is perhaps too old. The squeaky wooden floors made it hard to not cause any noise even with very light steps. * Room Comfort: Some bedroom pillows were far too big and uncomfortable for sleeping. * Ventilation: Several windows could not be opened for fresh air.
