"We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. Everything was provided as stated and it was comfortable and very clean. The area is very quiet, there is a small local shop that provides essentials and there are lots of local walks full of wildlife if you don't want to drive. It is a short drive from two towns where there are shops and restaurants and close to plenty of beautiful coastal areas to explore. "

"I’m confident it will be better over time, but right now they have quite a bit to work on. Many drinking glass were not cleaned and spider web on some chairs. Despite >85% empty (my assumption) we got an apartment where we had to go up some stairs to reach it. No elevator and not possible to change. The reception is not very quick or helpful. "This property is NOT where it shows on the map, it is 10 minutes down the street and not in the village of Comporta. There is only one AC unit, and the bedrooms get very hot. The house was not clean upon arrival and the cleaning people were still there. The microwave didn't work either. I am still waiting for my refund. The management company is difficult to work with and communicate with. Cute pool though. "
