This house was perfect for our 10 day stay. There were 3 adults and 3 teen baseball players, and we all had plenty of room. The kitchen and laundry room got a lot of use.
The drive in and out of the property was beautiful and we loved being in horse country. We saw deer most days.
The electronic door lock made life easy, and the TVs in each room were very nice to have, though we could not figure out how to use the Fubo account. We basically used our Netflix and Amazon accounts. It would have been nice to get some local TV , but I just didn’t make the time to contact the owner to help us. When we did communicate with Clay, he was very responsive.
WiFi was excellent.
The master bath was spacious with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Towels were plentiful and appreciated. The downstairs area with the big TV was great for the boys and their PlayStations.
We did have to buy a large pot and cake pan, but those seemed to be the only items the kitchen didn’t have. Otherwise, it was really well stocked.
We did use the hot tub (even though it was July). We had some sore athletes, and it was really nice for them to relax in. It worked perfectly.
We spent some time in Barrington itself and had great food at Neoteca, great coffee at Conscious Cup, an amazing breakfast at Egg Harbor, incredible chocolates at Anderson Chocolates, and cold beers at McGonigal’s Pub.
I grew up about an hour from here, but never actually spent much time in this area. It was a lot of fun exploring around the nearby towns when we weren’t watching the boys play baseball.
There were plenty of indoor games at our disposal, which we did use. One suggestion…It would have been nice to have had some fishing poles to use in all the nearby lakes.
All in all, the house was perfect for us. We truly appreciated the cleanliness and little welcoming extras that were supplied for us.
Thank you to Clay and his family.
