"The place was so cute and had amazing views. We loved Hoopers Bay! It felt like a private beach with just a few rental homes on the entire beach. We saw turtles and starfish right out front. The host is incredibly accommodating and super quick to respond to any needs we had. Our rental car battery died when we were checking out of the home and the house cleaner drove back home to get jumper cables and got us up and running. The islanders are so friendly. We would definitely be back and stay at the 4 turtles anytime!"

"We love love love staying at Grand Isle. We jsut completed our second year in a row. The beach is stunning. The pool is right there. Everyone is so nice. We love the bars and hanging by the pool. Jumping back and forth between pool and beach is seamless. The staff is fantastic. We LOVE the Exumas and highly recommend. Some tips is that you have a full kitchen in your apartment so bring food when you go as the market is a taxi drive away and because it’s a remote island a lot of items they won’t have. We packed a bunch of non-perishables for the kids because eating out every day three meals a day gets very pricey. Breads and chips and oatmeal and tuna and Mac n cheese. Mayo. Granola bars. Mixed nuts. Pistachios. Etc. next year we will bring even more but it will be perishables that we will pack in a cooler and check it in."

"The house is located in a perfect location on beautiful Tar Bay beach. We are experienced VRBO tenants who have been to the Bahamas several times and this location on Exuma is top notch. The house is a short ride to the airport, to Georgetown and to the resort locations further north. The internet lacked a little consistency but that goes with the territory in the Bahamas. The AC works great and kept us cool in the warm evenings. What the house lacks in magazine updated decorum is more than made up for by the location,and beauty of the view and proximity to the water. Olena was great to work with and made the process easy. I recommend renting a boat from Minns and enjoying other areas of the island. However, the beach 20 paces from the porch is fantastic."

"We had two families. We brought food to cook and the set up was perfect. Samantha had a new coffee maker the following day.( mr coffee broke). Superb private location. We did eat at restaurant one night but we preferred just cooking at beau soliel. Taxi service was tough. Recommend renting car for all in group. We did exuma water sports 7 beach tour— great. We rented boats from minns. Super awesome. Great clean house with great ac. Pool was ace. We will return. In future we pack more steaks and sauces. Groceries on island were great. We will rent cars and plan more boating outings."

"The Sandbar is a beautiful beachfront home. We were there this past week and it was the perfect place for our family. The location is perfect and plenty of beach which some houses don’t have much. I think I saw 3 people on the beach. The pool and hot tub are very enjoyable. Great for a big family. Communication with the host was excellent as well. There was not a negative with this house. Love the sandbar!"
