"My stay at the Splendid Hotel in Taormina was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the town center and the cable car that takes you down to the sea. It’s the perfect base to explore everything Taormina has to offer. What truly stood out, though, was how warm and welcoming the atmosphere was from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a charming, relaxing vibe, and the staff made me feel completely at home. A special mention goes to Mohammed at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. "The location is perfect to explore Taormina with shops, restaurants and tourist attractions within a few minutes walk. The hotel itself is unique built into the cliff and the views are breathtaking. The pool is clean is spacious and always had sun loungers available. Our room was fairly basic but it was extremely clean! The front desk could be a little bit more friendly, but overall the staff across the hotel were fine. Be aware that the hotel does not offer an iron or ironing board, which was pretty inconvenient. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel due to its location in Taormina. "
