"Wonderful place to stay. There were little things here and there (like a tear in our couch) that made me take a 2nd look. But besides that, it was a great trip. We will visit again."

"Ocean Beach Hotel is such a fantastic find! We stayed in the room w/the perfect view of the ocean. Bed was very comfortable and a good size room. Bathroom was a little small but updated. Beautiful decks on all 3 levels. Very easy access to the beach. Only downsize I would say was it could be pretty loud on the street outside until late. Esp Friday and Saturday. Nothing to do with the hotel but it is the downside to this room. Otherwise, our stay was just about perfect! Will be returning!"

"The room was clean and had daily maid service. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. The location was near grocery stores and restaurants, and the neighborhood seemed safe at night. My only complaint would be the terribly loud heater which I had to use at night."

"The fridge door was loose, the drawer where the fridge was in was loose, the ironing board was broken, the latch on the door was loose so was the dead bolt, and there were cockroaches in the room! "

"The view was fantastic. Room had black mold above the bathroom light that had been broken and not fixed before our stay. Staff offered upgrade for our honeymoon then mentioned it was an upcharge. The ice machine outside our room was broken and I could hear it malfunctioning all night. There was a teamsters union party that was screaming and partying all night for the first three nights we were there. Hidden fees were almost double the cost of the stay. Called hotel and emailed and only got through and was met by very rude customer service staff who offered one free night and gave the money back for the upgrade. So, we do everything we could to be out of the hotel room. Wouldn’t stay there again. "
