"I was In the old part of the hotel and did not care for it nearly as much as the newer part. It seemed darker and no bathrobes or bathroom incidentals (cotton balls, qtips, etc.). Staff was still great and I love The Read House just not the older wing of rooms."

"You get what you pay for. I like the fact that this hotel was right off the exit and plenty of places to eat. The downfall was the hole in the wall and bathroom door. But other that for a one or two night stay its not bad."

"The home was welcoming as soon as we pulled up. It was just as pictured and exceptionally clean. The beds were all very comfortable. Will not hesitate to stay here again. Would definitely give it a 5 star review."

"This house is really beautiful! It's big and great for a large family or group. It's in a great neighborhood tucked up on a ridge so you are overlooking a great view of the city. Super close to most things in the city and centrally located. There is a beautiful deck with a great view and flat patio that's more enclosed in front. Kitchen and dining are well equipped, 2 full baths upstairs and half bath down worked great for our group. Beds were all comfortable and the little alcove bed with trundle is really cute- great for kids or adults alike. Lots of little amenities around. Good wifi, easy check in, safe locks and great ongoing communication right from the start. "

"Very nicely done 3 Bedroom 2 Bath home that loves pets. Quiet street and friendly property manager. Home is well appointed and comfortable. Tasteful decorations and historical civil war artifacts from the old grounds in the surrounding area. 15 min to Ruby falls and Rock City. Several nearby eateries and coffee shops. Fenced yard so the pups can take care of their business and get some exercise. Great weekend get away at a good value."
