Welcome to our 130 m² house, designed to offer comfort, space and relaxation. We have lived in several Scandinavian countries and we hope you enjoy its atmosphere. We come to the house regularly from Amsterdam and we have a 3 year old child. To ensure a service throughout your stay, you will have the pleasure of being in contact with Grégoire who provides a concierge service.
The house is facing East/West. It is located in a quiet area but very close to the village on foot (5/10 min walk following the path to the large village square) where you will find all the shops (bakery, butcher, grocery store) as well as the famous Friday market.
It has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, perfect for preserving the privacy of all.
Bedroom 1 (downstairs): a 180 cm bed, bathroom with walk-in shower,
Bedroom 2(downst): two 90 beds, bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet
Bedroom 3(top): a 160 cm bed, bathroom with shower and bath, as well as toilet
You will enjoy a large, bright living room opening onto a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for cooking and sharing convivial moments.
A mezzanine equipped with a large TV offers additional space to relax. We also have a reading and play area for children.
For your comfort, we have air conditioning in the living/dining room downstairs and in the TV lounge on the mezzanine.
Outside, let yourself be seduced by the pretty landscaped garden and its private swimming pool (4 x 3 m, unheated), perfect for cooling off. A barbecue is also available for your outdoor meals. You also have a terrace to the west if you want to enjoy the last rays of the sun.
We have a young child so you can find a cot, a high chair, children's cutlery as well as games and books.
Around Barjac (30430), you will be immersed in a real medieval and natural postcard. Stroll through the cobbled streets of the Renaissance bastide, admire the elegant castle of the Counts of Roure, the Saint-Laurent church and the Porte Basse. Every Friday, the local market is full of organic producers, cheeses, olives and charcuterie: an explosion of Provençal flavours. Nature lovers can hike to the "Concluses" near Lussan – limestone gorges, waterfalls and panoramas guaranteed – or walk, mountain bike or rollerblade the trails around the river Cèze, among lavender fields and pine forests. A few kilometres away, explore the Neolithic dolmens, stroll through the hilltop villages of Aiguèze, Montclus and La Roque-sur-Cèze, or experience the adventure of canoeing in the spectacular Gorges de l'Ardèche.
