Headboard was dirty, bed was very hard. Better places to stay in Bari for the money. Also, if you have a car hard to find a place to park.

The location was great, was easy to find and get into the property. We booked a triple room but they only made up one bed then said they could make up the second bed for an additional charge. We had requested on the online check in that we wanted both the double and the single bed. Was not impressed with the service I got when we asked for sheets for the additional bed.

The location is central and close to shopping, attractions, and everything you need. However, the room floor was so dirty that you couldn't walk barefoot.

Lovely aesthetics. Location was great. Comfortable bed. The property manager couldn’t have been more helpful in getting us into her rooms on a very early arrival. Excellent all around.

Great room

Very nice and clean place and excellent location. Good amenities in the room. And very helpful hostess. A very good experience indeed. The only thing missing was a little something salty for breakfast to go with the tea and coffee in the room, apart from the cookies.

We stayed at Casa Almika Sparano from September 14th to September 17th. The location is excellent — right in the centre of the shopping district, surrounded by both well-known brands and smaller local shops, restaurants, cafés, and more. It’s about a five‑minute walk to the historical centre, ten minutes to the local beach and roughly nine minutes to the train station, where you can catch a train to the airport and avoid the high taxi charges. Our room faced the busy shopping street, yet it remained relatively quiet despite the occasional karaoke evenings and steady pedestrian traffic. Having breakfast on the balcony is a big plus, even though breakfast isn’t provided. Honestly, you don’t really need it — the nearest café offers great coffee and pastries, and enjoying the street life in the morning is part of the charm. And that pastry… unforgettable. The room itself is a decent size, with a standard European bed (almost a North American queen) and a good shower and toilet room, including a bidet. The air conditioning works well, which is essential in early September when the heat is still strong. A small fridge is available for groceries, water, or beer, but it cools better if you keep the cabinet door open. The electronic door codes — one for the building, one for the flat, and one for the room — are very convenient and worked without issues. All communication with the host is through WhatsApp, and the responses come. I'll highly recommend the place.
