"The Lodge is lovely, all the ground floor is brand new, showers are great. There were 10 if us and all fitted in perfectly. There are some steep stairs on 2 of the rooms but great for teens. You can walk straight out into the woods from the garden.It was super clean and communication with the owners were very responsive. We would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again. "I travel around quite a bit with work and do really enjoy a weekend break away…. This by far has taken the top spot of places to stay. I have nothing but compliments for this beautiful place. The welcome, the design, it’s so clean and comfy, every detail has been carefully chosen and it is all so well put together. My only regret is I only booked two nights!! I have already booked to come again. You should definitely add this to your holiday list, you won’t regret it :-)"

"The property is updated and clean. It's close to shopping and eateries. The only negative comment I have is that their website needs to update how to enter the apartment. Instead of stating to enter code and push door, tell patrons to enter door and turn knob while the button on the knob is still green. It was, honestly, a bit confusing. Other than that, everything was excellent!"

"Stayed for 3 nights down from Scotland for a family celebration. A beautiful hotel with ample parking. Staff super friendly and helpful. Only had breakfast at the hotel but this was excellent. Hotel is spotlessly clean and the decor is absolutely stunning. Only tiny grumble i could have is that it was stifling hot during our stay, as it is an old building no AC, hotel provided us with desk fans in our rooms but the Didn't make much difference. Good shower and free toiletries. Very comfortable beds. Please note there are a lot of stairs/steps/quirky corridors in this hotel and no lifts so not great if you have mobility issues. Would definitely stay again though "

"Phoned day before to check access to room as I have walking difficulties and use a wheelchair at times, spoke to Aaron was on duty who said the lift was not working, he very kindly moved me to a ground floor room so no stairs which was perfect, and a ramp was put to go to the bathroom Thank you Aaron for your help "

"We enjoyed a king bed room with a view of the back garden. The breakfast buffet is quite good (fresh, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato crisp) and french press coffee is served at your table. There is no dinner service. The bar offers bags of chips, and you can sit outside on the terrace or walk out to the river gazebo. The staff are very friendly and accommodating."
