Stay in a historic Early 1800s Guest House!

Come stay in your own cottage on an historica property dating back to the 1830's.
Convenient located in the heart of downtown Bardstown within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, markets, events and nightlife in the most beautiful small town in America. We provide our guest with farm fresh eggs, homemade pancake mix, snacks and waters.

We are also the Bourbon Capital of the World! So don’t hesitate to visit some local distilleries to experience some truly amazing Bourbon during your stay.

We arrived at 5pm (check in time was 3); it was not cleaned from the previous guests. We reached out to owners who were apologetic and said they’d have it cleaned right away. We walked around the cute town for a few hours to give them time to clean and when we came back, it smelled clean. A creepy house centipede was in the tub and a drain fly in the bathroom the next morning but to be expected for an older place. The lock seemed off, it was difficult to unlock initially and we never could figure out how to lock in from the outside when we left. It was just an ok experience tbh; but to be fair we only stayed one evening so maybe it would have gotten better had we stayed longer and used the house more. I think it’s a nice place, I think it was just an off day. Appreciated the offer from the owners to have a late check out at 11am since we checked in late. Bardstown is very cute and we enjoyed the one evening in that town probably more than Frankfort for our bourbon tour stays.

The property was clean and nicely decorated. We found the bed too soft for us. Th location is walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. We enjoyed dinner at RickHouse and breakfast at Mammy’s. It’s an older home as noted so floors are not even and doors don’t stay closed. If that will bug you then stay elsewhere but I just considered it part of the charm.

The house was exactly as described. Everything we needed was available for our short trip to Bardstown. It is a great location allowing us to walk to everything downtown. We toured/visited 6 distilleries around Bardstown and had a great stay. I would highly recommend this house for a stay in Bardstown.

This was a great place for our overnight in Bardstown. Close to the distilleries, and within walking distance to restaurants and historic places downtown. Looks just like the photos. Very comfy. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

As advertised

A great location and very quiet area. House was very clean and well kept. We walked to most of our destinations due to the location which was very nice. Only constructive criticism i would give is a dead bolt lock on back door, some kind of foot stool and end table in living room. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable Guest House and Great Location

We loved the guest house, and the location could not be beat! Just a block walk to the lovely downtown. The guest house had everything we needed for a comfortable, nice visit to Bardstown.

Great location

It was our first time to Kentucky and this was the perfect quaint little house in the perfect quaint little town. Everything was in walking distance. The civil war museum was down the street. You could also walk to all the restaurants and shops in the towns roundabout. You could park your car and not get back in it until you had to leave town.

Cute and Fun

The cottage was very clean and well maintained. It was a quiet, peaceful setting especially at night.The owners live next door and we're very friendly. The location was excellent, walking distance to all that historic Bardstown has to offer.Only issue we had was that the mattress was very very soft. It was not supportive and both of us had difficulty finding a sleeping position that did not cause back discomfort.That was the only negative. Otherwise very good.

Perfect spot for a couple's getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Guest House. The hosts' dog Doobie was an excellent greeter! The 1 bedroom Guest House was the perfect size and in a great location for our distillery tour vacation. Just blocks off the main streets in Bardstown, we were close to all our favorite spots but avoided the noise. The kitchen with full sized appliances was great for an extended weekend trip.

Peaceful and Warming

It was a really precious place in the heart of Downtown Bardstown!!! It was very clean and the owners were helpful!!! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen spacious. We enjoyed the walkability of the location immensely. The water presure was spectaclar and tons of hot water for a deep soak in a cast iron tub!!! Only issues were the internet was slower than we we are accustomed too and the kitchen needed a few more accessories for a week long stay. I would definitely stay there again. It was a great experience.
