Lovely apartment in an excellent location. We stayed for four months and truly enjoyed the apartment itself. Unfortunately, our experience with the host, Ingrid, was very disappointing.Throughout our stay, we often felt like a burden when bringing up concerns, which eventually made us stop reporting issues altogether. For example, when the fuse went out, her response made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her. We were also initially told we were not allowed to use the dryer, even though it was listed as an amenity. In addition, we frequently ran out of hot water, and one of the bathroom mirror light remained out for the entire four months.The most upsetting part of our experience came after checkout, when we were charged nearly 500 for cleaning claims we strongly believe were unjustified. Thankfully, we had taken detailed photos and videos before leaving because, based on prior interactions, we were concerned something like this might happen. We left the apartment extremely clean, neat, and tidy, and even left behind products we had purchased for the apartment and host. Despite this, we were accused of stealing items and leaving the apartment filthy. VRBO ultimately reimbursed us for these unwarranted charges.While the apartment itself is very nice, the host’s lack of approachability and the post-checkout charges made this an experience we would not recommend.
