Great location, staff and value

Room was clean and reasonably spacious. Staff was super friendly and responsive, really appreciated their effort. Location was perfect as it's within walking distance to famous attractions. The hotel is next to a small plaza with restaurants so there was some noises from the diners, but it's on an acceptable level. The only feedback for improvement is to install a sliding door at the showering area, as water splashed out so easily.

Great location in Gràcia with an early check-in which was very helpful. But the room was noisy without internal and external isolation and very pricy for the comfort. Never received an answer when sending a message the day prior my arrival.

The hotel staff were excellent - friendly, helpful, accommodating. The access code system to enter the hotel and room was ok, but we had initial challeges with securing the access code. The room had plain concrete floors, walls, ceiling, not a soothing relaxing atmosphete at all. One little chair, portable fridge on the floor, no carpets or paint colors on the walls. For a Marriott bonvoy we were expecting more. The bed was comfortable, which in the end is most important.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The location right on plaça del sol was fantastic, right in the middle of local culture and off the beaten tourist path of the city center. Judith at the front desk was also super accommodating, making my stay easy and pleasant.

This property was a great place for a couple who wants to be out of the tourist craze every day in Barcelona. This is very much a locals area. It is about a 30 minute walk into the downtown gothic district, La rambla, etc. but you can always take the metro or bus, we did both. The walk isn’t bad at all but just gets exhausting after a few days of doing it. Overall this was a great property for us and what we were hoping to experience in Barcelona. I would say the property is very basic, nothing fancy but it’s a nice place to relax at the end of the day. The rooms could definitely use some touch ups and renovations with paint, scuffed walls, and maybe a better sound proofing system. You can hear just about everything through the walls and door, even some of the noise from the square outside the hotel but we didn’t spend much time in the room so we were ok. If they made some basic esthetic updates I think they would be a perfect hotel for the Gracia neighborhood.

This property as advertised is not what it actually is, unfortunately the lower entry has a sewage smell & is cramped & not well kept! The upper hallways make you feel your in a container box & very drab! The rooms are at best basic with few amenities including no place for clothes! Very small bath! Not up to Travelocity standards! BTW the staff were all wonderful & caring! We did not stay, but left immediately for another hotel!

Fantastic customer service! The Sonder chat in the app made things so easy to communicate for calling taxi's, needing an umbrella, directions, and assistance when i lost my phone on the street!! Plaza del Sol is very cool, but definitely adds a day/night noise factor to the stay due to the bar and folks hanging out but the balcony room is awesome. Ear plugs are provided on bedstand just in case you are a light sleeper. Room and linens are nice, facility overall is clean. The hallway to rooms has a motion sensored light, so it was interesting when the elevator doors opened up to a dark hall, but lights quickly turned on! Overall would stay here again, or any Sonder hotel, this is the 3rd location I have stayed with Sonder, and have enjoyed each stay very much!

Room was nice but small. No staff so you need to check in early to get into the hotel gates and your room. The wifi, air conditioning, and bed was great. Close to the metro station making it easy to get around.

What a fantastic property! Having never been to Barcelona before, we were “green” as to where to stay. The Gràcia quarter was amazing and this hotel is at the heart of it all. Located right next to a central square full of shops and restaurants, the area comes alive in the late afternoon in to the evening. Families out just living life! Our balcony overlooked it all, and even though the room was extremely quiet, we chose to have our balcony door open to soak it all in. The rooms are amazing, the staff extremely helpful and everything you require is mere steps away. Stay here, you won’t regret it. Sonder does it right!

Adaquet lodging in a central location

The hotel has everything you need when you need a base to sleep and take a shower. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room on the side not facing the plaza.
