El Álamo Farm Charming Rural House in Barcarrota (Badajoz)



Discover the heart of the Extremaduran dehesa at Finca El Álamo, a spectacular rural house located on the outskirts of Barcarrota (Badajoz). With an area of 450 m² and capacity for up to 12 people, this estate offers a unique experience of disconnection, nature, and comfort. Ideal for families or groups of friends seeking tranquillity without compromising on comfort.



The main house is distributed over two floors and has 6 bedrooms, 6 interior bathrooms, several living rooms, an office and an independent kitchen, all carefully decorated with a rustic style and modern amenities.

First floor:



Bedroom 1 Oak: double bed, en-suite bathroom

Bedroom 2 Holm Oak: 2 single beds, en-suite bathroom

Bedroom 3 Cork Oak: 2 single beds, en-suite bathroom

Living dining room with fireplace and direct access to the porch and outdoor areas

Reading room with armchairs and a quiet atmosphere

Cosy lounge with sofa and bookshelf

Independent fully equipped kitchen

Laundry and pantry area with exit to the porch



Second floor:



Bedroom 4 Quince: 2 single beds, en suite bathroom

Bedroom 5 Walnut: 2 single beds, en suite bathroom

All bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom, except Higuera, which has a private external bathroom, located very close to the room.



The house is equipped with central heating, air conditioning, ceiling fans, Wi-Fi connection, satellite television (in several languages), sound equipment, washing machine, dryer, iron, hair dryer and mosquito nets in all rooms. The gas kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, complete tableware, coffee maker, toaster, mixer, water boiler and juicer: everything necessary to prepare group meals and enjoy long after-meal conversations in the countryside.



Outside, guests will enjoy two porches, a spacious private garden with outdoor furniture, and a barbecue pavilion with dining area, fridge, barbecue, outdoor crockery and a bathroom with shower. Next to the pavilion is a spectacular swimming pool with solar shower, sun loungers and umbrellas, ideal for relaxing during the warmest months. Pool towels will be available.



The property has an indoor parking with capacity for two vehicles, in addition to plenty of space outside.

The perimeter of the house and the pavilion is fenced within an extensive private plot, ideal for walking and observing livestock and animals in freedom, and at night, contemplating the sky in all its splendour.



El Álamo Farm is more than a rural house: it is a refuge of peace, nature and Extremaduran tradition, where every corner has been designed for rest and connection with the environment.



House rules:



The maximum capacity is 12 people, including children. Persons under 25 years old are not accepted. The accommodations are conditioned according to the number of people staying, guaranteeing comfort and energy efficiency.



No events or parties are allowed.



No caravans, tents or any other type of additional overnight stay that exceeds said capacity are permitted.



Smoking is not allowed inside the facilities. All buildings are smoke-free spaces.
