"The host greeted us at the gate with keys and a quick tour of the lovely property. This house is the best location in which we have ever stayed: Attention to detail is evident everywhere from the bed and bath linens to the kitchenware to the overall design of the unit’s layout. Very clean and brightly lit, yet with excellent privacy. The neighborhood is quiet and quite suitable for a stroll to view others' gardens. Guest comfort is paramount though and through."

"This is a lovely place for a stay by the coast 30/40 km north of Porto. The house is ideal for a holiday - well equipped, clean and with a pool - the sea was fairly cold so having a pool was a 'must' especially if you have children. There are lots of excellent seafood restaurants nearby and a lovely sandy beach (less than 10 minutes wak) - and the nearby town of Apulia is 20 minutes walk - you don't need to hire a car - the host Rui Miguel was very helpfull in arranging transport for our...

"All aspects of this hostel were unique and stunning, the grounds, the room, the hallways, the bar, etc. It was a pleasure just to walk around and enjoy the architecture, The breakfast was the best we had in all three weeks of being in Portugal and the staff were attentive and polite.Truly such a pleasure to stay here and an oasis of beauty."
