The staff were very accommodating. They thought of everything! From backpacks and umbrellas you can borrow for the day to complimentary snacks and coffee, the Yellow House Inn makes traveling easy. The location is perfectly located near everything in town. We walked to every store and restaurant, the shore path, and Bar Island. The national park entrance is only minutes away. We were on an anniversary trip, and I couldn’t recommend it enough to other travelers looking for a quiet, convenient, and charming place to stay!

This property is amazing! It is within 5 minutes walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor, and a very short drive to Acadia National Park. It was very charming and quiet, and parking was convenient. Sara was an awesome host. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Bar Harbor.

We really enjoyed our stay at Yellow House. Very close to Main Street, shopping, and dining. Sara, the breakfast, location, and snack/amenities were all fantastic. We did think the price was high for our room, Linzee, which didn’t seem to match the overall aesthetic and quality of the rest of rooms depicted in the photos.

Sweet Inn, perfect location in town. Can easily walk to all the shops and restaurants. Very close to the harbor for sunrise / sunset walks. It’s an easy drive to explore all Acadia has to offer. Wonderful breakfast spread: fresh fruit, overnight oats, yogurt, quiche, pastries, juices and great coffee. Room, ours was the Belmont, very spacious, with comfy king bed. The Inns common areas were well appointed with comfortable furnishings and interesting decor. The Inn keepers were so friendly and helpful with activity and dining suggestions. Will stay again on next trip to Bar Harbor.

Great choice. Beautiful and peaceful, friendly place. Great location - walk to the shore or shops. Loved sitting on the porch. Did not try the fire pit but a nice area was available. Large rooms. Just a great place to recharge your batteries.

The Yellow House Inn is a special place! We loved everything about it!! Sara and Patti are the kindest hosts and made us feel so welcome. The Inn is so beautiful, yet cozy and homey! The common areas are just perfect. The breakfast was delicious and wonderful! Healthy snack choices are available all day long. Sara and Patti have thought of everything including hiking backpacks to borrow in case you forgot yours like we did! The outdoor space (wrap-around porch and fire pit) are fantastic and we loved sitting by the fire in the evening. Our room was so spacious and lovely! The location of the Yellow Inn is perfect! You feel away from the hustle and bustle, BUT everything is walking distance! We didn’t drive anywhere while we were there! We just LOVED it all and can’t say enough about our stay! We’ll be back for sure!
