Great house in a great spot

This house was the perfect spot for our large family to gather and enjoy Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. It was a short walk to town and to the park. The back yard setting is resort-like and the fall colors on the street were as beautiful as anywhere on MDI.

Perfect vacation home in Bar Harbor!

Three generations of our family came to this beautiful home to spend a week enjoying Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The house was clean, well-supplied and had plenty of bedrooms and space for our three different families. Rich (the owner), was incredibly responsive before and during the stay and helped us within minutes when we locked ourselves out of the house! The heated pool and other outdoor games were thoroughly enjoyed by the kids in our party. And you definitely can’t beat the location of this house! It’s about a 10 minute walk from downtown Bar Harbor and a very close drive to Acadia and all other parts of MDI! Thanks for a wonderful week in this amazing home!!!

Family Vacation

Our family vacation with ages 3-66. Beautiful home with great amenities including the heated pool. Spacious and easily accommodated the 12 of us. Short walk to town for eating, shopping, marina to catch whale watching boat. Short drive (or walk for our hikers) to Acadia's. Great location and communication with Host Rich was quick and easy. Highly recommend!

Love this place

Stayed with family- group of 11. House is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated. Location is superb- easy walking to Bar Harbor or short drive to Acadia. Pool was clean and warm. Property owner was friendly and helpful. There was a pack and play at the house. One of the best properties we have ever stayed at. Would love to come back. Would give it ten stars if I could. Thank you Rich for sharing your property with our family.

Great place

Comfortable

We were able to walk to town and restaurants. Plenty of bedrooms. TV’s in every room. We had a wonderful time at the pool. So pretty in the evenings. Would go back.

Within walking distance to everything in downtown Bar Harbor

We had 9 people stay in the home while visiting Bar Harbor, Acadia and surrounding areas. We loved the house as there was an upstairs bedroom area, downstairs and a bunk bed room for the kids. The kids loved the heated pool, the yard was beautifully manicured and the porch was awesome to sit at in the evenings. My favorite part about the home was the excellent location, it was within a 5 to 10 minute walk to the majority of downtown Bar Harbor. We walked to the grocery store, shopping and restaurants throughout our stay. I would highly recommend any group small or large staying in this home!!

Perfect location to enjoy Bar Harbor and Acadia

This house was awesome. It was a bit cold to enjoy the beautiful yard and pool but the house was perfectly situation to enjoy so many amenities on the island. It's on a quiet residential street but only a 5-10 minute walk to so many shops and restaurants downtown. House itself was large and roomy, exactly as described. The host was very accessible. We needed help with the heat and he called us right away and even offered to come over to help if we needed it. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Spacious and great location

The home was spacious with a great in ground pool. We had plenty of rooms for all 7 + a baby. Looks newly remodeled and well maintained. We really liked the easy walk to The harbor or the coastal path. We also liked that you can be at Acadia or anywhere on the island really with a short drive. House had everything we needed. Great stay!

Fantastic, spacious rental a few blocks from. Downtown Bar Harbor

Awesome location with and easy short walk to Bar Harbor’s shopping and Restaurants Comfy, spacious, well appointed. Delightful heated pool. Fantastic host and easy check in /out. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place to stay, incredible location!

Everything about this property is top notch. Rich was great about making sure we had everything we needed. He even advised me on bike shops in the area for a repair I needed. The kids were in heaven in the backyard with a pool. Great way to unwind after a long day of Acadia activities. The location is perfect--short walk to pretty much anywhere in town! House is super clean and is lovely. It had everything we needed for our week stay. Can't wait to come back!

Acadia Trip

The house is in a excellent location. Just a short walk to town even for people over 65 and right outside Acadia The owners were great to rent from. They were quick to help out with anything we needed. We didn’t use the pool but it was beautiful and children would love it. If we ever get back to Bar Harbor would definitely rent this property again

Best vacation rental in Bar Harbor

We’ve been renting this property for a few years and the new owners opened a week for us this summer. The house is perfectly located, just a few minutes walk from downtown and waterfront, and from the supermarket. The house is spacious and well equipped, with a few nice upgrades the new owners put in place like AC. House is perfect for two families with the two levels, each with privacy and it’s own lounge area. The best feature - the pool!!! The outdoor area is a lot of fun and great for hanging out. House is also close to park loop drive and has a lot of fun biking all around. Would definitely love to come back every year!

Ideal Bar Harbor family retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Bar Harbor, and this property provided the ideal home base after busy days of sightseeing and hiking. The home is well-appointed and comfortable, and the spacious backyard with large pool and plenty of seating creates the perfect retreat setting.
