We did have some issues with cleanliness and pests that we were not expecting. We would recommend it for a relaxing lakefront thing stay."

For the most part everything listed was present at the place and there were enough sleeping options for our crew. Overall - the owners were nice and fairly responsive but there was a level of disappointment to the care of the property and more importantly the preparedness for our arrival. They said the pool and hot tub were cleaned and ready but the pool was still dirty and the hot tub...

"My family and I stayed at the Lake House for the holiday. We can not say enough about the amenities, the house & the owners. We look forward to returning to this magical place for our next family reunion."

"We camped at Freedom Farm and enjoyed the secluded woods setting for our tent. Everything was clean and well prepared for our stay, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is beautifully situated and is a short drive from some excellent hiking and biking in nearby state parks. I think a couple of things, though, could be improved. The tent was set up on an incline, which made sleeping a bit less comfortable than it might have been. I would recommend that the hosts build a level platform...

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house is walking distance from the lake and a good break for anyone trying to escape the bustle of NYC. The house was very clean and we felt safe and comfortable here’s the outdoor fire pit was a very nice touch."

"We had a wonderful vacation with our grandchildren and family. The children lived in the water if not kayaking or water boards they were fishing!! Rainy days puzzles were our entertainment the summer house provided everything one wanted or needed. It was a very delightful vacation"

"We stayed for a birthday weekend with a few other couples and had a great time. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and each 'area' of the house is incredibly comfortable (especially the movie theater). If you need anything there are plenty of stores close by and the area is very safe. Overall, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway."

"There’s honestly nothing to complain about everything was great. You have everything from comfort, relaxation, cleanliness, friendly staff and the location is convenient with surrounding walkable or short driving distance shops and food options. From Connecticut or OOT, it’s cozy here. Corned beef Rueben from the Tavern restaurant on site was good, prices are reasonable. The coffee bar in the recreational area would be the only thing I would re invent! Also add a better Keurig/ coffee machine and a refrigerator with protein shakes and sports drinks. Otherwise, it’s so nice to grab a coffee or tea before or after pool/ gym."

"My stay was excellent. My room was on the 2nd floor right side, next to the window...big enough for a family of 3. This was a solo/business trip for me and the room has an excellent dining room and meeting/living room with a very nice view if you love green. I slept like a baby. Breakfast was fantastic-freakin-tastic--drop a $20 on the table for the fam. Will stay there whenever I go back up th Limerock Park. The drive to and from Limerock is a dream if u know what u doin...and ya gotta go to the pub up the road...the locals are super freaking awesome!!! "
