Walk out the door and you’re instantly on the Lower Flying Mile trail, gliding down to the main lodge and chairlift. With two cozy gas fireplaces — one under the TV and another perfectly positioned to watch skiers descend the slopes — this sunken living room is made for relaxing after a day of mountain adventures.

This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin sleeps up to 6 guests with a king bed, a double bed, and a sleeper sofa/futon in the living room. The open layout flows seamlessly into a fully equipped kitchen and large dining area with bench seating, making it easy to cook and gather with family or friends.

Step outside to the patio for morning coffee or an evening grill, and take in the stunning mountain views. The patio connects directly to the trail, so you’re just a few steps from skiing, hiking, or mountain biking. While the space is mostly private, the upstairs neighbors may pass through to access the trail as well.

Year-round activities abound at Sugar Mountain Resort: skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and ice skating in the winter, or golfing and tennis in the warmer months. There is always the alpine coaster, ziplines, adventure courses, and local shops and restaurants year-round.
