「We are a family of 6 with 4 kids between 15-21 all of whom are elite distance runners so our plan was to explore the running trails in high altitude in the cool mountain pre-summer climate. This house was the perfect location for us as most of the best trails were accessed via the Blue Ridge parkway which is just 7-8 minutes drive from this house. 「Very cute home in a great location! The kitchen was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. This house had everything we could have wanted on our vacation. We will definitely book again!」

「Location was convenient for skiing Sugar. The home doesn’t have central heating or air so it might be too cold or too hot, depending on the season. They have many blankets for the bed rooms but could use an addition of a space heater in the living area. There are not blackout curtains in the bedrooms and the blinds aren’t enough to block out the street lights so be aware if you’re light sensitive. 」

「Beautiful property and view. Gives the secluded feeling, yet close enough to town for anything you may want or need. Two separate driveways, so very convenient for multiple vehicles. Hot tub was great, fire pit was nice even though we didn't make a fire due to current NC burn ban. Wonderful family getaway.」

「The property was very adequate for our large family group with lots of room for kids to play. Beds were comfortable and the big dining table was great for family meals. The house needs some maintenance upkeep. Sliding screen door was sitting on the outdoor table. The grill was unusable and the pull out couch was broken. The downstairs shower curtain needs to be replaced. We did enjoy the cool weather of Beech Mountain and the fireworks were amazing.」
