The only good I can say about this rental was the location. We attended a concert at Beech and the shuttle picked us up right outside the condo. Otherwise, this condo was dirty, dilapidated, and in need of major repairs / upgrades including: no hot water, stains on the carpet, no room darkening curtains, one small fan for the entire place, broken drawers and cabinets, and no smoke alarm. This was a complete rip off for the high price we paid.

気になった点 : 清潔度、コミュニケーション
Upon arrival, we noticed several issues that significantly affected our experience: • Missing smoke detector: There was no smoke detector in the unit, which raised serious concerns about our safety and which is illegal and a direct violation of the North Carolina State Building Code (Fire Prevention Code) and commercial building standards . • Broken cabinetry in kitchen, including a broken drawer face and a utility closet with a door that would not close. • Stained carpeting: The carpeting was visibly stained and appeared poorly maintained. • Dusty kitchen appliance: Keurig was covered in dust, suggesting that the unit had not been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. • Dirty kitchen floor: The kitchen floor was dirty and needed additional cleaning. • Shower curtain on kitchen cabinetry: A shower curtain had been left on top of the kitchen cabinets, which was both unsightly and unacceptable. The shower only had a thin shower liner curtain. • Flashing light bulb: A lamp had a flashing light bulb that needed to be replaced. • Broken bathroom fan: The bathroom fan was broken and made an irritating squeaking noise when operating. • Moss growth on patio: The patio had noticeable moss growth, indicating a lack of proper outdoor maintenance. The list goes on,

Quaint Chalet

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was mostly a good experience- the late 70's/early 80's appliances/decor were worn down/on the older side and needed updating, but overall, it was a nice place to stay and would stay there again.

Would not recommend

The resort itself was nice. The condo we stayed in was not clean. We had issues with the tv. No wifi. The hand towel holder in bathroom fell off the wall. Tried to reach out to owner twice with zero communication. Will not book here with this owner again.

The unit was not clean. The closet door was stuck shut. Ants invaded the kitchen!

Unit not clean! Ants in the kitchen. The floors were dirty and the carpet needed to be vacuumed. No one checked out this unit prior to my stay!! The $100 Linen Fee was just not fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the roof was about to fall in

The condition of this property was completely unacceptable—the roof was on the verge of collapsing. The photos do not accurately capture how severe the situation truly was. While I appreciate that the property manager relocated us to another condo, they also promised a 20% refund, which has yet to be provided. Future guests should be aware of the serious issues with this property and the lack of follow-through on commitments.

Place is very cozy but could improve.

The apartment is tany but very nice and cozy, we visited on president day weekend, arrive very late at night and the apt. was very cold due to not running the heater, there is small heather unit and it can keep place warm after 30 mn run; the bed only have had sheets and cover bed, we found two small blankets, it could be better if there was real bed blankets. At the kitchen there wasn't dishes soap, we need it to use the laundry but there wasn't laundry soap either. So be prepared in case you need to use the laundry or clean dishes and bring blankets if you visit on winter. We did visit the pool area but it wasn't clean and the smell of chlorine was very strong, hot tub was not working. Place is very convenient to Beech mountain ski resort and overload parking.

great mgmt staff...place is just ok

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am a bit biased because I stayed here so I could be with normal people and get a good nice sleep. Instead the next door neighbor came in around 2am and she was screaming and yelling at the top of her lungs for awhile. As far as the place goes it is super super small. There are no internet TV instructions. I had to reset things myself and did call to get help and security came right away, was super nice, and did all he could. Got TV but no wifi. The kitchen is just okay. There is no separate bedroom which I knew but for others staying here realize there is just a bed in a small area off the living area. The mgmt group is great! The pool area is nice. It is super expensive for what it is especially in non ski season

Over all it was a great location and the views were stunning. We had internet and tv issued but there were fixed on day 2.. washer and drying flipped breaker but got that fixed day 1.. all in all I would book this again.. I understand everything can’t be perfect but they worked to get it all fixed. So we were happy.
