My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary, and it was a blast. There were beautiful mountain top views, as promised. The owners gave detailed instructions which made arrival a breeze. We highly recommend. We looked forward to coming back to enjoy the place after our mountain adventures.
The view from this property was amazing!! Very well stocked kitchen, everything you need to cook. Such a cozy place! Everyday, we’d go hiking somewhere, grab something to eat, and come back to watch a movie with the windows open and the fireplace going. We saw deer outside every morning. The property manager was easy to get up with as well for any questions. I highly recommend booking this property!
This is what they mean when they say “the mountains are calling.”
This spot was exactly as described, and the owner’s attention to detail and responsiveness was exceptional.
We brought both of our dogs who loved the view and greeting the deer who grazed the property each morning.
Bed was super comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and more, plenty of toiletry items, plush bath towels…
The access road/parking was a little tricky after dark and in the rain, but Hunter provided very clear details that helped us find our way.
When we go back to Beech we’ll be staying here again!
We booked our stay for the Bristol Night Race. It was about an hour and 20 min out from the track but it was well worth it. The condo was as described. The only issue was we arrived late at night and it was kind of confusing on finding the unit. The view from the condo was majestic. The leaves have started to turn and it was beautiful. The little town of Beech Mountain was the look of out of a Halmark movie. We enjoyed the condo and defiantly would stay again.
My mom, dad, dog and I stayed for one night at this cabin and we didn't want to leave! It was the most adorable cozy loft cabin villa, with an insane view of the mountains (perfect sunrise view). Well stocked with everything you could need, even for your dog. It wasn't too hard to figure out where to go and where to park, and yes you have to walk down a few stairs to get to the place but it wasn't all that many. The host was very responsive and friendly and I'm sure if I needed anything they would have been happy to help. Definitely recommend staying here and exploring some of the hikes in the area/ skiing or whatever else you like to do in the mountains!
Excellent property with a gorgeous view. Very clean with whatever you needed right at your fingertips. The frosty beer mugs in the freezer were a nice touch! As are the amenities for your pets. Dog toys, treats, and pet dishes were greatly appreciated. Hunter was extremely responsive to questions and we appreciated her attention to detail. The home is decorated beautifully and comfortably at the same time. But the best part by far is the view. We could have stayed on the couch and stared at the mountains for days! The steps are worth it for the view! But you can also walk up the service road and around to the upper parking lot if stairs aren't your thing. Totally enjoyed staying here and can't recommend it enough! Thank you Hunter!

That View! A grand view of the valley, breathtaking. one of the few with trees not blocking the view.
It was clean, and well equipped kitchen, with internet tv (samsung ?) wifi was good. extra blankets, etc.
issues to be aware of: 1) 72 steps to the parking lot. (about 4 stories up), during summer I was able to drive down and unload, and reload leaving. (not possible in winter). and 2) the bed is the all foam rubber type. & pretty soft. I prefer firm mattresses, so for me it was a negative. That and the stairs to the 2nd floor, are pretty steep, with the 1 bathroom upstairs it got tiring.
That said, the view is worth the effort. (one of the best on the mountain), I probably would not stay again, but only because of the soft mattress. (and I didn't realize the sofa folded out. )
The property is very nice with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. However, we only spent 2 days there instead of 6 because our dog got very sick and had to be put to sleep.
Hunter is a very receptive and accommodating host. His property is updated with stylish furnishings, an open floor plan and plenty of natural light, but the best amenity is the view! It’s so good that it will be hard for you leave. Follow the instructions to the unloading area first as it is close to the condo and try to check in before sunset as it definitely gets dark. Leaves were starting to change. Beautiful place to be this time of year. Hope to return soon.
This was my first trip to Beech Mtn. And the view from the living room window is amazing. The place was in good shape with all the amenities you will need. Bring your own coffee. The only comlaint was that we only had 2 towels for a 4 day stay, otherwise we really loved it here and would definitely come back. There is an access road to unload but you have to park up top and walk up and down some steep stairs. No problem for most folks but not for someone that may have health issues or elderly.
