Jan weekend

The property was very clean. The interior was just remodel and comfortable. It was ten min from Boone and fifteen to Banner Elk. The driveway is steep and was icy because of recent storms, so you'll need a 4x4 to get to the property

Worst Vacation Ever

I myself ,My wife, my nephew, booked cabin for Dec 30th-3 January. We arrived at the "cabin", The first item we discovered was that the large TV didn't work. It kept arcing in the back. Then we discovered that the new laundry machines "LG" weren't even hooked up, The dishwasher didn't work. Notified the host and said he would take care of all our issues. Days went by and still issues we''re unresolved. I sent pictures of all the items..Also there were no binder with how to operate any item. Didn't do us much good as nothing worked. On Wednesday I text the host again and was told that he was working on it, but his daughter was just admitted to the hospital. I told him we were sorry to hear that, and since out time was almost up I stated "sorry to hear that but we'll survive, take care of your daughter, after I filed a refund request with VRBO he came back and stated that since we said we would survive he would not consider a refund. Also nothing in the description did it state that there folks living under neath us and they had a barking dog. This is how our New Year started!!!My wife stated that "she wouldn't stay there again if its the last place on earth. All photos and text conversations were forwarded to VrbO
