This was a very nice home.Owner was easyTo talk to and very accessible if needed. I do believe the owner needs to update the pictures. The only complaint I would have is that the ad says there is a hairdryer and we cannot find a hairdryer. The hot tub was the most amazing part about this trip! This house is close to Beech Mountain Sugar Mountain Banner elk , close to the new Alpine coaster.great stay!

Overall: It met our families needs! Pros: Living room is cozy. Does have a dishwasher (but I’m not sure how well it worked. Could have been user error. Lots of wildlife. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. Lots of board games. Plenty of cooking utensils. Convenient to most of Beech Mtns dining options. 5 minute walk to a beautiful pond with walking trail around it. Enough of a front yard for kids to have a little run around area. Closet large enough to put a pac-n-play in it- we used it as the baby’s room so that we could function in bedroom without waking baby. Cons: No washer or dryer. House could use some cleaning/dusting and some touchups/repairs.

Perfect location! We enjoyed our stay. The home is nice and cozy, which makes it very easy to unwind. Definitely will come back again. It’s spacious, clean and the hot was nice as well. Added Bonus, it’s a short walk to the Beech Mountain club. . .

Great House

Great cabin

Overall we really enjoyed this home. However, the grill didn't have any gas in it and the grates were all moldy. We had planned to grill our first night there. There was no firewood,which is fine, but would have been nice to know ahead of time. The house is very spacious and cozy. The hot tub was great. Large selection of games, both for children and for families. Secluded and quiet.

Wonderful Weekend

If your looking for the perfect spot to hit the slopes and unwind after in a quiet comfortable setting this is it. The hot tub is relatively new and a wonderful bonus to help with sore muscles after a day skiing. Spacious open concept with everything we needed for our stay. We will come back and I highly recommend

Close to activities

Good stay. Loved fireplace and hot tub. Property could have been cleaned better. Also did not have enough towels for 2 night stay or any other linens. Also towels were damp when we arrived. They had been folded but left on bed and were wet. We had to hang them to dry. No wash clothes, hand rowels or dish towels. Also no hair dryer. Light was burned out in closet in master bedroom so it was hard to see. However, It was a great location and good beds for a weekend trip. Enjoyed the hot top and fire.

2nd Stay in 2022 - Fantastic location and home

This was our second stay at this home, the first with family for Christmas. We had a wonderful time and it is so close to the resorts for some fun in the snow. Highly recommend! We will likely continue to use Blake's place every year!

Quaint Mountain Escape

My son & I stayed here on a "hiking pit stop" to on the way to family for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful hike just steps away from the house, and were surrounded by wildlife! Foosball and the hot tub were a hit. The home could use a deep cleaning-it's a bit dusty, but had all of the necessities and was in a great location.

Great property

I wanted to take my time 20’s daughters snowboarding for the first time. The house was better than expected! We saw lots of deer around the house multiple days, it was a really awesome trip!

A pleasant experience in the snow.

The house was big enough to comfortably fit 6 adults, and although we got snowed in for a day we never felt cramped whilst staying inside.

Warm home in great neighborhood

Warm home, good wifi. Very good response time from host. Strongly recommend bringing own portable clothes drying rack for snow gear and also bringing extra towels as only one per person is supplied which is not sufficient for six guests, four with long hair. No hot tub towels are supplied, but the hot tub is in very good condition, well maintained, and great for after a day snowboarding. Home is located 1-1/4 in from entrance for Beech Ski Resort slopes.

Beautiful cabin!

We had the best time for my husband’s birthday weekend. Our boys (2.5 & 4 yrs old) loved the snow! Their first time seeing it! The slopes in the front and back yard were perfect for sledding for them. Loved how close it was to Beech Mtn as well for tubing! And of course, the hot tub was wonderful! We hope to stay again soon!

Great place

Wonderful house in a great location. So close to the Beech Mountain Ski Resort. The boys got into the hot tub every evening after snowboarding. Kitchen was well stocked. The couches were big and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better place.

Loved it! I can definitely tell the owner/manager worked hard to make it the wonderful mountain retreat that it is. Pictures do not do it justice. Will definitely stay again & highly recommend to others looking a beautiful getaway!
