The living room includes a regular sofa and smart TV, giving guests a comfortable place to unwind after a day exploring the mountains.

The full kitchen makes it easy to cook breakfast before skiing, prepare dinner after a day of hiking, or enjoy a slower mountain morning with coffee at home while taking in the orchard and mountain setting. The washer and dryer are a major convenience for longer stays, ski trips, families, and guests who want to pack lighter.

166 Apple Blossom is located in Banner Elk, one of the most desirable mountain towns in North Carolina’s High Country. The property sits in the middle of an apple orchard with long-range mountain views, giving guests a peaceful and scenic setting while still keeping them close to restaurants, shops, wineries, ski resorts, hiking, and year-round attractions.

Banner Elk is a favorite destination for guests visiting Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, Lees-McRae College, local wineries, scenic drives, and the Blue Ridge Mountains. In winter, guests come for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and cozy mountain weekends. In spring and summer, the area is popular for hiking, golf, rafting, fishing, wineries, outdoor dining, and cool mountain weather. In fall, the orchard setting becomes especially memorable, with crisp air, changing leaves, apple season, and colorful mountain views all around.



Getting Around:

A car is strongly recommended when staying in Banner Elk. The area is easy to explore by car, with quick access to downtown Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, restaurants, grocery stores, wineries, hiking trails, and scenic mountain drives.

The Tesla EV charger makes this a convenient choice for guests traveling with an electric vehicle. Guests should plan ahead during winter months, as mountain weather can change quickly. Snow, ice, fog, and steep roads are possible in the High Country, so 4WD, AWD, or snow chains may be needed during winter weather events. We are located in the heart of Banner Elk so the town does prioritize plowing in our area at the main road level.

Apple picking is permitted when apples are in season. Guests should only pick apples for personal enjoyment during their stay and should use caution when walking through the orchard, as the ground may be uneven and natural outdoor conditions may be present. Cameras are on site recording our parking areas only. These record 24/7 when motion is detected.



Coolbnbs, the property owner, and approved contractors or service providers may access the property during a guest stay when needed for maintenance, repairs, inspections, appraisals, pest treatments, pool or hot tub service, lawn care, or other standard professional appointments related to the care, safety, or operation of the property.

Guests will be notified in advance whenever reasonably possible, except in the case of an emergency or urgent property-related matter. Guest approval is not required for necessary property access, and no refund, credit, discount, or other compensation will be provided due to Coolbnbs, the owner, or approved service providers entering the property during a stay.
