Cozy home away from home

This a newly renovated house with plenty of space, the kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped, the bathrooms are lovely stand up showers with glass doors. It’s a pretty modern house in a quiet residential neighborhood close to grocery stores, restaurants and highways. About 15min away to baltimore downtown, inner harbor and other tourist attractions baltimore have to offer.

Negative for neighborhood and drug odor

The neighborhood was very rundown looking, and there was a woman sitting in her car that was parked on the grass next door, the door being held on by duct tape. The house was dirty and reeked of marijuana. Appliances had cracks in them, and it just wasn't a well-taken care of property. The host was kind enough to fully refund our money, as we left right after booking a hotel.

Will not recommend

We arrived to find that the house was not cleaned well at all. Dirty dishes in the washer, sheets in the dryer, mold in the coffee maker and random trash. The alarm system continued to beep loudly for several hours before we were able to get in touch with the host. Also whenever the person in the bottom half lit up his weed, the whole house smelled. Definitely not what we were looking for.

Weekend in Baltimore

The accuracy of the house wasn't good .it's not a whole house it's a duplex. Therr was still stuff in the fridge from whoever before us. They had workers at all times of the night and day working in the basement and could hear them and smell cigarettes. The home it's self it's super clean upstairs and really nice . The towels needed re washed from milldew smell. The electrical outlets in bathroom #1 didn't work and some lights in the house had burnt out light bulbs and in bathroom #2 the shower didn't get hot really. I feel the house wasn't completely done and ready to be rented out yet .the neighborhood didn't seem bad we had no issues with anything else . Take extra pillows and if you plan on cooking in the house bring pots and pans. All in all not a bad stay at all the renter is easy to communicate with and always respomds right away. If it was more organized and had the wifi password and all check out process in the house would help also.
