"Comfortable place to stay while exploring the counties of Silgo and Mayo. Slept like a queen in the wonderful bed, room overlooking a peaceful pasture and rolling landscape. Efficient little kitchen and large living room with a stove (pellet) to take the chill out of the cool spring nights. Host Sheila picked me up at the train station and was a wealth of information about the area. Wished I'd lingered longer....."

"Sometimes you come across a place that deserves 6 stars and this is one of those places. Incredible location with an incredible host, thanks Gillian and family for looking after us for our two week stay. We already miss this cottage and can't wait to get back. Deer in the garden (if your up early enough), horse's to feed and birds to listen to. Relax infront of the fire with a book or make use of the strong wifi in every room. "The house itself was great. Lots of room and comfortable. They location is on a small dirt road which made it a bit awkward. The problem came with the heat. Had a cold week , low to mid 40s and the house inside wss set at 17.. about 63 degrees. We asked about raisi t the heat heat the answer was no. Heat is controled by owner. So we spent our evenings in sweater and jacket. Felt untrusted. We left several days early"

"We had a great stay at Nephin View. The house is comfortable and clean. It had plenty of room for the 5 adults in our group. It is located in a scenic location with nice views out the windows and even sheep grazing quietly in the front yard. The owner was flexible with our check-in time and responsive to the questions we sent to him by text. We made use of the house's large and well-equipped kitchen. I highly recommend staying here when in County Mayo."

"The location was great. We had a beautiful view of the river from our room and everything we needed to get to was walking distance from the hotel. The staff was friendly and when my cab never showed up, the staff at thw fromt desk helped me secure another cab so we could get to my brother's wedding venue."
