Host was personable. Some of the furnishing could be updated. Had everything we needed. Good location for Great Basin.

The town of Baker is pretty sparse, but if your out their then you will know that. We grilled steaks at the retreat it was spot on.
Other than the Great Basin National Park, I am not sure what else to do there
Great place to stop but not stay more than a day.
The retreat was about 15 min away from Baker on a dusty , isolated road
Almost no services. Really only one restaurant and it was very good! I would dine there again.
