Una pena, el hall es impresionante, en sus tiempos de gloria debe haber sido un buen hotel. Desgraciadamente hoy en dia da pena, no merece ni una estrella! Hay pensiones con mas calidad y clase. Sinceramente, el estado es lamentable y es una pena. Muebles del siglo pasado en mal estado, poca iluminacion, no tienes donde enchufar el telefono al lado de la cama, colchon, almohadas y edredon, puafff, el edredon desde la cabeza hasta los pies no me cubria, con humedades en la pared. El baño de pena, oscuro, insalubre, mala calidad, plastico mucho, espero no haber cogido ninguna enfermedad. Desayuno de pena, presentacion cero, unos platos blancos insipidos..... Suerte que el personal es muy amable y eso alivia un poco.

Una grande delusione !!!

Sinceramente deludente per un albergo che vanta a Baia Mare un nome e servizio superiore alla media .... !? In camera ho trovato i residui della lavorazione di lavori da elettricista .... Una lampadina della luce principale principale non funzionava. In camera si sentivano rumori disdicevoli delle stanze vicine La televisione riceveva pochi canali e nessuno italiano. La colazione aveva da subito poche pietanze disponibili e senza un servizio adeguato. La camera dopo una notte non è stata pulita da nessuno. L'orario della SPA era del tutto inadeguato con un orario ridotto nel fine settimana. Sincer dezamăgitor pentru un hotel care se mândrește cu un nume și un serviciu peste medie în Baia Mare ....!? În cameră am găsit reziduurile muncii unui electrician .... Un bec din lumina principală principală nu funcționa. În cameră se auzeau zgomote nepotrivite din camerele învecinate Televiziunea a primit puține canale și niciunul italian. Micul dejun a avut imediat puține articole disponibile și fără servicii adecvate. După o noapte, camera nu a fost curățată de nimeni. Programul SPA a fost total inadecvat, cu ore reduse în weekend.

Le camere dell'hotel sono datate e la moquette e i copriletti un po rovinati. Abbiamo avuto un problema con una prenotazione (una stanza non era tripla)ma grazie a hotel.com e a uno dei ragazzi della reception è stato risolto. Molto gentile la.cameriera ai piani. La colazione discreta ma mancavano marmellate monodose e qualcosa tipo biscotti Il personale della sala colazione non parlava inglese. Comodo il parcheggio accanto all'hotel.Bagno grande e con finestra. Il.posto in cui è ubicato alquanto triste

The water quality is extremely Bad. I was afraid to drink it little lone bath in it. I was to stay there two weeks but checked out after the first day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. At one time is was a classy place to stay. If they would up grade it it might not be that bad. I really can't see why it's still open.

Nie wieder!!

Das Personal an der Rezeption war super Freundlich!! Aber das Servicepersonal war total unfreundlich und faul!!! Frühstück sollte es ab 6:30 Uhr geben war aber um 6:45 Uhr immer noch nicht vollständig und die warm Speisen immer kalt ( 10 Tage )

Bad choice.

The hotel has only the location going for it. Check in was ok until I got to the room: large size but musty smell, very run down carpet, all stained, very uncomfortable bed and the bathroom was in a desolate state, sink and shower leaking, almost non working. I've asked them to change the room and , even though the hotel was half full, they put me in another room after behaving like doing me a favor. The second room was slightly better, the same musty smell, old run down carpet but at least the shower was working and the bed was a bit better. There was a phone in the room but just to talk room to room; to make local calls I had to go downstairs to the front desk!!!!!! Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Shame on the management for not keeping up with such a great location. I've tried to find a room at another hotel in this area but it was fully booked-now I know way. It's more like a 2 stars hotel but the price I end up paying was way to much for what it offers. Bad choice.

Weekend in Baia Mare

For my first trip to Romania and Baia Mare, I had a pleasant time staying at Hotel Mara. I arrived very late but was still greeted with welcome by the night staff. Room was clean and spacious with everything required for a comfortable weekend stay. Recommended for anyone visiting the area for the first if not only for the decor but the views and its central location.

First the negatives. The overall condition of the hotel was 'tired and old fashioned' a lot of wasted space. The only negative was that we booked massages but the masseur didn't turn up and there was no-one else to do it. The positives were room size, bed comfort, excellent breakfast, central location and free car parking.overall an enjoyable holiday experience.
