"First of all, i didn’t stay at The Rooms. They put me at one of their other properties, which, if it were summer and I was a poor college kid vacationing with friends, would have been fine. But other than the location and the entryway, this Air B&B was not good! The bedding was old, worn and stained. The toilet seat was broken, the towel warmer didn’t work, the fridge barely worked so my yogurts were warm, the shower was the size of a phone booth and there were absolutely NO amenities!...

"The staff was amazing and helpful; the room was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity to stay. They have plenty of parking spaces. I did not have breakfast, but I did have coffee and it was delicious."

"We enjoyed five night at this well situated hotel, right on the main square and within easy walking distance to the beaches and nightlife. Also within walking distance to the train station and main bus stop. Rooms come in very different sizes. Our double room was clean and comfortable with a very good mattress. There is a small refrigerator and a lock box in the room, along with a tv. Maid service was efficient and friendly. The hotel staff were very friendly and the breakfast is good. The sons of the founder run the hotel and the one I met was attentive and welcoming. The three women at the front desk were all very helpful, and multilingua, with at least English and German among them. "

"Our stay at the Piccolo Grand Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the charming old town of Pizzo, this boutique hotel perfectly blends modern comfort with authentic Italian character. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were warm, helpful, and always ready with great local recommendations — whether it was where to find the best tartufo gelato (hint: it’s nearby!) or the most scenic spots to watch the sunset. The room was stylish, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with high-end touches — especially the rain shower and incredibly comfortable bed. We had a beautiful balcony with a small view of the sea. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a daily highlight. Fresh fruit, pastries, eggs and cappuccinos with a view of the Calabrian coast — it’s the kind of morning that makes you want to stay forever. The location is perfect for exploring. Just a few steps from the main piazza, restaurants, cafes, and the historic castle, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. If you’re visiting southern Italy and want a boutique hotel that offers style, service, and soul — Piccolo Grand Hotel is the place. We can’t wait to return!"
