"We went here for a short family break in February - my wife and two kids (7 and 3).The cottages are perfect in every way, and have everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Adele and Nigel are great hosts and also kindly put out a load of kids toys, booster seat and stairgate ahead of our arrival.The cottage was very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Being February the weather was not great (as expected), but the cottage was very cosy in the evenings with the log burner going.Having a good pub literally at the end of the back garden was also an extremely welcome benefit!We will certainly return if we're ever back in the area, and can highly recommend for families or couples alike."

"Fabulous place and really beautiful location. Property was comfortable but clearly in need of some TLC although in fairness you have to remind yourself of the age of the property. Owners were really lovely and very helpful and are clearly working towards a bigger vision for the site.. would visit again in a flash😊"

"The cottage was lovely in an idyllic village, handy for the busses. The garden was a sun trap and was lovely to sit in but the grass needed cutting. We felt the bathroom needed some TLC but overall the perfect place for a holiday away from it all."

"Cabin was great and in a brilliant location if you’re after an off grid get away. It’s not too far away from local towns and villages by car. The cabin has everything you need and is super cosy with the log burner cracking away.The view is also beautiful, you can see so many stars at night with a clear sky, and watch the rabbits and birds during the day from the large window. We only dropped a star on cleanliness as we had to wash the crockery and pans before use as this had been missed, and the previous visitors had left food items in various locations that hadn’t been cleared (and not things you would leave for others). Can highly recommend The Thimble Inn, nearby, such delicious food and brilliant service."
