MONDI Hotel Bellevue Gastein was wunderbar! Everything was very clean including the guest rooms and common areas. All of the staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. If you do not speak fluent German, it is not a problem because all of the staff spoke English. We were there in mid September(off peak time) but there was still lots to see and do…in fact we didn’t get to do all we wanted to do in the 8 days! We really appreciated the Bad Gastein Mobility Ticket. It allowed us to travel all over the province of Salzburg, just like an Austrian, without having to rent a car. The Gastein Card was also a bonus for having discounts to a variety of Bad Gastein attractions and venues. We came for the hiking and the Hohe National Park is just a short bus ride away. The views are spectacular. After hiking we made use of the pool, whirlpool and sauna rooms at the Hotel. We partook of the buffet the evening we arrived and the food was excellent. We also really enjoyed that we could make meals/snacks/beverages in our studio kitchenette because one of us must eat gluten-free. We used the very convenient laundry room twice. There is also an impressive workout room but we were too busy to use it. We recommended the MONDI Hotel Bellevue to family members who are avid bikers as biking is very popular here as well. Our whole experience has been so positive that we plan to come back.

We had a lovely stay and would love to return sometime in the future. Our children loved the pool area, the food was great, and we had a great room. I only wish we were able to stay longer.

It was a great stay! We chose the half board which was good, as we were tired to go out for a dinner. The view from the balcony was amazing and we enjoyed a short walk to the water fall a lot.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, perfect for a relaxing stay. The hotel's location is also a big plus—convenient and in a great area to explore. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

We spent a week at MONDI Hotel Bellevue Gastein, and it exceeded our expectations. It was one of those rare hotels that genuinely became part of our holiday experience rather than just a place to sleep. We stayed in Building 5, which has been recently renovated. Our room was exceptionally spacious, modern and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of storage for clothes and luggage. The addition of USB charging ports was very convenient, and my daughter absolutely loved having her own separate room. The highlight, however, was the balcony. Waking up every morning to breathtaking views of the Alpine mountains was magical. My daughter couldn’t wait to open the curtains each morning, and my wife and I spent many peaceful mornings over coffee and evenings before bed simply sitting on the balcony, taking in the incredible scenery. Those moments will stay with us for a long time. The room was spotlessly clean throughout our stay. Housekeeping was excellent, and towels were replaced whenever requested. We also had a fully equipped kitchen. We didn’t use it much ourselves, but my cousin, who stayed on the same floor, found it extremely useful. The breakfast deserves a special mention. The variety and quality were outstanding. We particularly loved the excellent selection of cheeses, smoked salmon and ham. The fresh pancakes every morning were a family favourite, and the coffee was consistently excellent. One feature I especially enjoyed was making my own fresh fruit juice every day.

The hotel is in a wonderful location, a short (uphill) walk into town. Our apartment was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and a really great little kitchen too. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice, but dinner impressed us the most. Every night there were many excellent options and we never left hungry! I recommend half board if you want the ease of not having to go out for dinner. The wellness area was well kept and had great sauna/steamroom options. Overall a 5-star stay in a 4-star hotel!

Family ski holiday in Bad Gastein

Great stay. Nice room and nice breakfast and dinner. Staff service was great. Shuttle bus to ski lift for 3EUR/person. Ski lift is not far away, but a steep uphill with boots and skis. We used the shuttle going to the lifts and walked home. We had half board option which was great. Drinks were not included for dinner, which I am OK with, but even tap water was 3 EUR, which I think should be included at a four star half board option.

Very beautiful, though very crowded place. The hotel has had some renovations and it is very big.Food they serve is fresh, tasty, and wonderful. The staff are pleasant and English speaking! Location is close to attractions and the views are unforgettable. Too much chlorine in the swimming pool to take a plunge. Drinking water is wonderful.Overall-amazing!

Lovely hotel with pool, bar restaurant, games room. Not great parking or walk to ski slopes though. You pay for shuttle to slope or walk up a steep slope. Parking is hard work. We took a flat with kitchen so we could cook. It had the major things we needed. Good size of flat - one bedroom and pull down double bed. No view directly. Interiors a little worn. But all in all we had everything we wanted. Would visit the hotel again but not for skiing. Only one food store in town - also up hill walk.
