Set among the historic villas next to the Grand Hotel in Heiligendamm, we have created a place of tranquility and elegance with great attention to detail. With a view of the adjacent forest, you can hear the sound of the sea or the Molly’s whistle when the windows are open, and sometimes watch the deer grazing. Behind the garden, the heated outdoor pool steams in front of the Grand Hotel’s spa area. From the front steps of the house, you can see the beach promenade.
Thanks to its immediate proximity to the Grand Hotel, our accommodation in the villa colony offers all the amenities of the historic spa complex.
The Michelin-starred restaurant “Friedrich Franz” for a special evening, the “Nelson Bar” with its exquisite selection of wines and whiskeys, the “Kurhaus” for breakfast and dinner, the “Baltic Sushi Bar” with the best kimchi in the world, and “Medinis,” the sister restaurant of the same name as the Italian restaurant at Berlin’s legendary “China Club,” are just a few meters away.
The quickest way to the spa, fitness center, sauna, and sunrise yoga is through our garden, which adjoins the hotel’s outdoor pool.
The “Perlenkette” is a gated community within the Heiligendamm area with its own concierge service. Our 70-square-meter apartment faces southeast, so it gets sun from early morning until late in the day. We placed great emphasis on maximum aesthetic appeal in the interior design. The mantelpiece of the (odorless) gas fireplace is made of Botticino marble, as are the bathroom and kitchen. All furnishings are from renowned manufacturers; some of the antiquarian books and original manuscripts in the library are rare and precious, and the paintings are by renowned artists from around the world. When you wake up at sunrise in the cozy box-spring bed, the morning light sparkles in the crystals of the chandelier.
We have consistently carried out Heiligendamm’s vision as a “locus amoenus” (lovely place).
