"This house is beautiful and clean. The multi-level home well accommodated our family of 11. The location was perfect for access to Lake Vermillion. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. The beach area was great and the kids enjoyed the lily pad and swing set. We used the kayaks, canoe, hot tub and sauna. Moccasin Point was a close boat ramp to launch our boat and the dock at the property made our fishing days easy. By the way, we did have fishing success! The property manager...

"This space is a cozy, peaceful dream. It had all the amenities of home while being in the "middle of nowhere". I needed a comfortable retreat and "base camp" for hiking after a rough couple months, and the Ely Cabin and David, delivered in spades. Saw the most breath taking northern lights 2 nights in a row, and then the stars and milky way the next. I'll for sure returning soon. For the comfort, character and peace."

"This was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. The home was clean and felt like a home away from home. Communication was incredible by the owner and the additional information about the area and where other services could be found was top notch. The property is so quiet and peaceful. A gorgeous cabin feel out in the woods. A fully stocked kitchen made making meals easy as cooking at home. On a clear night you can see all the stars and even the Milky Way! "Loved Motel Ely! Super friendly/helpful proprietor offered plenty of recommendations for restaurants. Rooms are not standard modern soulless fare. Mismatched furnishings, midcentury-style mini fridges, unusual bathroom sink/toilets... but everything is spotless and functional. One of our 2 rooms had a great mural, both featured shiplap wood walls. Affordable and cozy. Also right on Sheridan St in Ely, making it easy to explore town on foot. Highly recommend."
