Ayr Holiday Apartment

  • This apartment enjoys a quiet location with a secured entry system luminated throughout the night. First floor apartment has a welcoming entrance hall complete with solid wood flooring throughout. The spacious lounge has a large LCD TV, DVD player and WI-FI and opens out to a decked balcony with accompanying sea views. The new modern fitted kitchen/diner hosts a range of high gloss wall and floor standing units inclusive of ceramic hob, telescopic extractor, oven and integrated washing machine. All crockery, kitchen utensils, pots and pans are supplied. There are two double bedrooms (bedroom 2 is a twin) c/w fitted mirrored wardropes (master with en suite). The main bathroom has a w/c wash hand basin c/w bath and shower and stainless steel heated towel rail. The apartment also has its own private car parking space.

Lovely property in a quiet area with great access to the beach and town centre. Easy to locate and good communication with the owner Ian. Ayr is a lovely place to visit with great places to eat, would recommend Reel Plaice, Lychees, Priya and the Tam O'Shanter.

The flat was clean and tidy. Quite well equipped in the kitchen. A bread knife would have been a great addition. Some soap and more toilet paper in the bathroom would have been appreciated.

Very comfortable, plenty of space and quiet. Location is very convenient for travelling to anywhere in the Ayr/Prestwick/Troon area. It is a short walk to restaurants in Ayr town centre.

Everything was perfect, the location, the flat, the beds. Great communication with the owner. Finding the parking space could be a bit tricky but in the end there is no issue to find a free space. If there is something which need to be check: the window of the 1st bedroom which doesn't close properly and can be an issue with children Anyway, in conclusion... Will we come back? For sure!

short trip to visit dad

The apartment is well situated for walking to town center and the beach front. Car parking was available and more than adequate. Facilities in the apartment were comfortable and more than enough for 2 guests. The heating system needed some attention but I was quickly helped by Ian and we got things running again. We would suggest the inclusion of at least 1 toilet roll , we travelled from the Netherlands and preferred not to go directly to the supermarket. Other than that we had a great stay.

Good location for visiting Ayr and the Surrounding area

Easy walk into the centre of Ayr. Recommend Ronaldo’s Ice cream shop. Good position for exploring the area, visiting Loch Lomond, Glasgow and the Falkirk wheel all just over an hour away. Some difficulty identifying the parking space but once worked out no issues. The number on the floor plaque does not correlate to the flat number. Good sized flat for our family of 4. Some issues which require a bit of maintenance. For example the windows and doors were very stiff and oven didn’t seem to work on all settings. Overall really nice break and would recommend.
