"The unit itself was great but the time of year and weather conditions made the unit cold for old people. It has a heat pump but it just couldn’t heat the unit. "We've been going every Summer for about 7 years now, and will continue going... Great location... The included breakfast is plentiful and varied... The room is clean, and the shower is spacious... This time, unfortunately, the bed wasn't very comfortable... We were told that the mattresses on the 2 first floors were changed, but not the 3rd floor ones, which is where we were for the first time... We were told they would also be changed this year..."

"What a hidden gem! Right on the beach, right next to the lighthouse. Watch the tide come in and go out from the balcony. Such a charming place. Loved all the sea decor and extra care taken to make our stay memorable. We only stayed for one noght, but wished we had had stayed for 3! Highly recommend. Would love to return."

"Lovely, clean and cozy home surrounded by quiet nature. House is welcoming and well-equipped and provided us with a few days of downtime. Sunsets were stunning. We hadn’t planned for the distance from town for groceries and restaurants but the hosts were wonderful to communicate this info to us. Our only personal issue was a slightly hard mattress… younger bones may not have noticed!! We will definitely return on future trips to NS."

"Staying at the Edelweiss Inn was such a unique experience! The entire place feels like a home away from home, filled with incredibly cozy touches. It’s located about 1.5 km from Port George, and you absolutely cannot miss the beautifully maintained, vintage German-style details throughout the property. It has a walking trail and a stunning view from every angle of the property. I would definitely love to stay here again in the future!"
