"The hotel is a one star. The clientele is pathetic. NO problem coming i to room at 2:30, hyped up, loud yelling. Absolutely no regard with other guests. Motel 6, have reached a new low."

"I absolutely loved the unit. It was exactly as described and SO much more. This unit was very thoughtfully equipped and everything seemed brand new. I was so taken by the history of the original 1887 house and the work they have done to restore it. The old Carriage house was also restored and now serves as a garage with the rental unit above it. I love history and felt fully immersed by this property, the trees, the roads, and the City in general. All amazing! I had friends visit me while there, my hosts were wonderful and expressed their willingness to do anything I needed for all of us to be comfortable and to enjoy our time together. I had my own patio, BBQ grille and hot tub. The kitchen was perfect, probably over supplied, with dishes, pots & pans, brand new appliances, even plenty of snacks left for me. I cooked at least one meal every day while there. The bed was very, very comfortable. They even had a combo washer/dryer. I arrived late at night and only needed the code for the electronic lock on the front door. My arrival was so easy! I interacted with the hosts a couple of times during my stay; they were so warm and friendly; I departed with 2 new friends! I truly mean that!! This was not just a stay. It was an experience. I felt like I took a step back in time. If you go, read the historical info provided in the room and investigate the charming history of Nebraska City. I've told all my friends, "This visit was MAGICAL!" I'll be back for more!"

"Fantastic stay at the Mahoney Ridge estate. Communication with the property owner was wonderful, property was clean and inviting, and had lots of amenities to keep the youngest to oldest happy during our day. The area is peaceful and quiet, and the property provides ample space for a large family, especially if you have young children. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Nebraska."

"Clean and somewhat updated rooms. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Doesn't offer breakfast which we didn't realize, but grams place had us more than covered. Tiny parking lot but we managed to find a spot both nights. You can tell they are trying to keep on repairs which is hard to find with cheaper hotels. Great price, great staff, good location. 9/10 would stay again!"
