2nd floor, garden view
Just a few steps from the famous Palais des Papes, our residence welcomes you for a journey through time. Built on the remains of the Augustinian monastery, whose construction began in 1261, this building steeped in history existed long before the construction of the Palais des Papes in 1335. Martin Luther, an Augustinian monk, is said to have stayed here during his visit to Avignon.
Just at the foot of our property, the Augustinian bell tower still bears witness to the presence of the Augustinian church, part of which was dismantled after the French Revolution. This recently renovated, authentic site will delight lovers of heritage and ancient architecture.
