"Eigenares was blij dat er Belgen kwamen want wij brengen regen mee na maanden droogte.2 dagen regen was geen probleem met binnenzwembad en pooltafel en meegebrachte bordspelen.Iedereen ook blij met badkamer bij elke kamer.Eigenaars super sympathiek en met heel veel respect voor privacy. "Our hosts were excellent. They communicated with us a lot before and during our arrival and were very flexible. They fixed an issue with the Internet in just 1 days (we needed it as we were working remotely) The countryside is amazing, covered in little interconnected paths for lovely walks, long and short. The cottage is beautiful and was immaculately clean when we arrived. It had everything we could need for our 3 week stay. Highly recommended!"

"We transferred to this house after being let down by another. The owner communicated well (in French) with us as we made the transfer. Throughout the visit the owners communicated with us to ensure pool maintenance etc was not intrusive. A required repair was dealt with speedily and efficiently. The house is large with large grounds in a rural setting. The pool was heated to 26 degrees and maintained by the owner. It was the focus of our visit with the children and grandchildren. "La grange est un endroit accueillant et adéquat pour des familles. Enfants adultes et adolescents ont chacun leur espace . Nous avons apprécié le calme le jardin avec l allée de boule la cheminee Petit bémol les lits sont faits à l arrivée comme précisé dans l’annonce mais les serviettes savon etc ne sont pas fournis contrairement à ce qui est annoncé. Il faudrait modifier cela pour prendre ses précautions à l avance . Merci à Charline."

"The young man at the front desk was amazing. He was friendly and very helpful. This hotel was an easy to get to and conveniently located in La Mans..October 16. 2025 The only concern we had was the front door didnt lock after dark... other than that, we give it a 9/10"

"A very pleasant stay at Gite du Jouteau with our family of eleven, our ages ranged from 9 to 76. Surprisingly the indoor pool was a bonus with temps in the mid 30s during our stay allowing us to cool off easily. Very quiet area and a relaxing stay in the Sarthe region of France."

"Really peaceful, lovely rooms and a warm welcome. Really good continental breakfast. There was even a kettle and decent teabags! This hotel is excellent value for money. Immaculately clean, lovely bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - modern rooms but in keeping with the traditional rustic building. The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms. The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes. We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect."

"Je séjourne régulièrement au Campanile de Sablé-sur-Sarthe dans le cadre de mes déplacements professionnels. L’accueil est toujours chaleureux, familial. Mention spéciale au personnel, toujours souriant, disponible et à l’écoute. C’est un point de chute fiable et agréable pour les voyageurs fréquents. Le restaurant sur place est une belle surprise : cuisine simple mais savoureuse, avec des buffets bien garnis. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié, parfait pour démarrer la journée."
