It is the 3rd time that we visit the Chateau. Very quiet place, very peaceful, the best place for fresh air. Nice forests around. Nice castle, nice bedroom, nice garden! Breakfast is very tasty with some local/home made products. Special thanks to Jerome from the staff and the owners who are very great !

Special thanks to the most friendly and helpful housekeeper Carla Maria!
Really pleasant surprise - you never quite know what to expect. Enjoyed the garden with woodpecker and red squirrels. Very quiet and relaxing. Very nice staff. Lots of places to eat nearby.
Chateau D'Avenses is a most beautiful house with great views across the countryside. Comfortable bedroom, plenty of lounge facilities, nice gardens etc. Josette welcomed us with Normandy cider and biscuits which were very welcome after a cycle ride from Dieppe. An outstanding breakfast in the morning. We felt like French aristocracy. Well worth the price.
A wonderful and peaceful grande Maison. Rooms were delightful and in keeping with the style of the property. Very comfortable. The two guest lounges were absolutely stunning. Simple continental breakfast with home grown ingredients. Staff very very helpful despite our appalling French. Very highly recommended to anyone passing to stay here. Fabulous. Will be staying here again in the future.
Lovely stay. A really great option if you have a large group and can get several rooms together. The views are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are modern. The staff onsite is very helpful and breakfast each morning was basic but very good.
It is the second time we went at Chateau d'Avesnes. We like it a lot. It is quiet, no pollution, the owners and staff are very nice, warm and friendly, a very nice atmosphere The garden and the orchard are peaceful, bedroom was clean, large and well furnished, breakfast is delicious, with jam made from the fruits of the garden. It may seems expensive, but it worth it. We will be back for sure.
Absolutely fabulous! A lovely place to stay and perfect as a stopover on the way to Versailles. Very friendly hosts who were very forgiving of our late arrival. Super breakfast too. We loved it!
