「Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch. 「Isbell and Isbellita were truly wonderful and the oasis we needed for the weekend! Everything was perfect, we spent the whole day on the lake, and it is conveniently located. The house is cozy and warm and has plenty of sleeping options. I slept on the porch which was particularly delightful. Also, Bread and Puppet is a 15 minute drive away — I’d highly recommend giving them a visit! On the whole, it was so lovely and it was the perfect birthday getaway. 」

「Well stocked house, coffee pot, spices and oils for cooking. We had family commitments in the area and didn’t get to use all the amenities (ie boats, dock, bbq). Beds were comfortable and lake views were beautiful. Lighting strips on steps to camp were a nice touch too. We even had a loon sing to us as we were leaving! Love the NEK and the lakes!」

「The cottage is absolutely perfect! It was just the right size for our family of 4, plus our dog. The location is very quiet at the end of a road with beautiful views. The cottage is very comfortable with just enough modern updates. The private beach is shared with the other homes on the road but not crowded. Sandy lake bottom that’s shallow for quite a ways out, great for kids. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard. We have already reserved for next year!」

「This was a great cabin to stay in. Surprisingly there was air conditioning available. The hot water is on demand so takes some getting used to, but worked great. The access to ATV trails is behind the cabin and thru the campground. A little hard to find but the individuals across the street were very helpful. The cabin came with everything you would need to cook dinner. We did bring a small grill for outside. Overall a great stay and would love to come back. 」
