「This is a beautiful place on Lake Hartwell...very clean. Owners communicated very well. Close to I85 but not too close. We stayed here for a long weekend and a UGA football game. Access to Athens was extremely easy coming from the North. Family flew in and out of Greenville SC which is only an hour away. Nice to avoid Atlanta traffic. Lavonia and Hartwell not too far away with grocery stores, restaurants, etc.」

「We had such a fun relaxing time. Unfortunately the water was down but the host did tell me at that time of year it would be down. That didn’t keep us from having so much fun though! The hot tub was nice, the screened in porch was amazing in the mornings while I had my coffee, we all really enjoyed the theater room, pool table, & foosball. 「Melanie was more than accommodating to us for our stay, allowing us not only early check in but also allowing us to add a day at the end of our original reservation. The cottage is very clean, and has so many “extras” that made our stay so comfortable, welcoming and easy! She includes so many items that, while not strictly necessary, are so thoughtful and made our stay much more home-like. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll absolutely stay here again. 」

「This is an amazing property. We had more than enough room for our family including 2 teenage boys and two grandmas and us. The house was clean and warm. The decor was inviting. The boys had their own space downstairs and we had a wonderful time chilling out in the back porch. The lake was great for fishing and the boys enjoyed the kayaks. Thank you for a pleasant stay. 「We really enjoyed our stay on Lake Hartwell. The home was very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Drinking our coffee in the morning on the boat dock, watching the sun rise and the fish jump was a wonderful way to start the day. Great location between Greenville and Atlanta with easy access to the upcountry. Peter was very prompt with communications and very accommodating with check-in and check-out times. We would highly recommend his cottage on the lake!」
