Everything was clean when we came in, and beds were made. Extra blankets and pillows for those sleeping on the fold out couch. Reasonable kitchen utensils and cooling equipment. Little difficult to tell where everything was. Emails I received sometimes conflicted with information. Host did not respond to message 5 days before reservation but responded to one during the end of our stay. House was close to Vons so could easily make a grocery run. Overall was a good rental and was fun with group of friends. Oh and there was a orange cat that would visit every night so that was cute.

We loved our stay! The location is absolutely perfect - far enough away from the crazy (cruise ships docked both days holding 5,000 people) but very easy to walk to the water (even with small children). The convenience of Vons being only a two minute walk can not be understated. There is a great park just a five minute walk in the opposite direction along with outdoor work out equipment for the adults. This was a great way to start the day or a pit stop before or after $2 tacos and $6 margaritas at Sandtrap! Don't miss the scenic walk just up the street. Very hilly, but amazing views and an easy run down the opposite side of the mountain by the Chimes Tower. Just beautiful. The shower door still needs to be fixed (easy magnet I would think?) and more pillows would be appreciated, but the patio was wonderful to sit with drinks after a long day or chill with coffee in the am. We'll be back!

Great location! And overall, the accommodations were nice too, aside from a couple small things, like the shower door didn't close all the way and the couch was not comfortable to sit on. The bed in the bedroom very comfortable though! Our favorite feature was the balcony. Very spacious! My only true complaint would be communication. I reached out to the property contact the day before we got there with questions about our check-in and luggage storage, but never received a response. We also never received the access code before arrival (as promised in the emailed instructions) and had to reach out a couple times to get it once we were on the island.

Very cute little maritime themed apartment. Only complain is the shower door does not seal, and one of the shades is broken, a few rattly fans that need replacing. Little stuff like that...but for the price and location I'd say it was a pretty good deal.

perfect spot for a Catalina getaway.

The family loved this place and the walk to the city center was not too long at all. VONS really close by for anything you need. The island will take care of the rest

My stay.

My stay at this property was pleasant. The neighbors were very welcoming, assisting me with enjoying my time and seeing as much as I could in the time I was in their neighborhood. The local restaurants were within walking distance and dining was well received. All in all, this was a very good trip. Would definitely recommend.

Decent place, good location that could use some improvements

An overall nice place in a good location. Things were a little run down: the patio door would not lock and we were not able to use the oven because it would set off the smoke alarm. Otherwise, a comfortable place to stay for the weekend.

Lovely little retreat.

This place was perfect for my little getaway. My family reunion was taking place on the island and I needed a little spot to retreat to for privacy and relaxation. It was very cute and had everything I needed. It even came with a friendly kitty who must live nearby. He was very sweet and made my whole trip. I will come back for sure!

Great stay

Overall, we had a great stay! The house is on a quiet street but is still close to town. Everything worked well in the apartment except for the sliding door to the deck (it doesn’t lock). The main bed was really comfortable but the sofa bed wasn’t. We still really enjoyed the stay and would love to go back!
