This was perfect for my parents and I for a quick visit while in town. The furniture and beds are comfortable. It worked perfect for spending family time and playing games. There wasn’t a list of 15 different things to do at check out. At check in everything was sent well before check in.

Yes the house was very wonderful but my wife likes to clean up before and wash clothes and sweep and mop but there wasn’t a washing machine or dryer nor a mop and broom

Cozy

Excellent rental. It's a newer listing and could use some small tweaks but it was great otherwise. Check in was easy peasy, communication from the property manager was prompt, and amenities were exactly as described. There were even a few unexpected extras that were convenient. The house is wired strangely in some spots and could use some more labeling for switches. The converted garage/bedroom was warmer than the rest of the house (as expected) and needed an extra fan which was actually delivered the day we arrived. I would rent here again.

Gross & not family friendly

When we checked in, there was a cop car three houses down for something. A hour later when my husband arrived he saw someone being arrested in the neighborhood. The front door and back door need privacy curtains. The house was set on heat the first day, even though it was 80 degrees outside. There was no option for AC, had to troubleshoot with host for about 30 minutes. Bathrooms were blatantly not clean. I lost count at 10 hairs in one bathroom. I cleaned myself and was not even refunded the 50 cleaning fee. Both showers are clogged. I stood in water that was over my ankles while quickly showering. Overall a pretty terrible first experience with vrbo.

Host let us check in at 11 am but the house was set to 78 F on a 102 F day. I immediately turned the AC down (the lowest setting allowed was 68 degrees), turned all the ceiling fans on and got the 1 oscillating fan to try and bring air from the living room into the king size bedroom. Due to the air not getting conditioned, the house was extremely musty smelling and my son’s and my asthma started to act up. We left at 2 to go to our tournament weigh ins at the Luedecke Arena (the proximity is why we chose this house). When we returned I was very concerned because it was 7 pm and the thermostat was still fluctuating between 76 and 77 degrees. I contacted the host immediately and after about 30 minutes she replied asking if it was continuing to go down. I told her No. This was not ok. Our whole trip was for this world championship tournament for my son. It took him 2 years to get invited to the most prestigious and elite jiu jitsu tournament in the world. He needed to go to bed early and get a good nights sleep. The thermostat in the hallway still said 77 and the bedroom was even hotter. The host said she would “try” and get an AC guy out the next day. I called VRBO and they said the host had until midnight to fix the issue. I had to leave and get a hotel room. We had to be at our tournament at 7 am until 8 pm for the next 2 days. I couldn’t bring our things back from the hotel mid day or leave them in a hot Texas car (my son had a lot of meds) and host refused a full refund!

Great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed the space. It was close to our work conference and so relaxing at the end of the day. The neighborhood was quiet and I would recommend or go back to the house, when needed. Communication was above expectations from the host. Very pleased with the stay and experience.
