  • Enjoy a contemporary Austin experience at this south central spot. 15 minutes from the airport, a 10 minute drive from downtown, 5 minutes from south congress, and some of the best taco shops that Austin provides.

    Our completely furnished home offers two memory foam queen beds, a coach that feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud, and a doggy bed for your furry friends.

    We supply fast gig speed (G-fiber), desks, and a computer for business.

    Everything is okay for you to use! If you have access to it then you can use it!

    We ask to respect everything as if its your own(:
    Guest access
    You have access to laundry rooms, bedrooms, kitchen, the large side yard, and back yard!

    Chances are if you can get in it then you have access to it!

We came to town for ACL and this was the perfect place to stay! It was a short drive to downtown, but far enough away from all of the crowds.

Short drive to downtown

First time in Austin for Hack Your Health conference. The unit was only about 12 minutes from downtown. Very easy to access. Neighborhood was quiet. Unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would stay again.

False Advertising, Lack of Communication, Integrity & Accountability

Photos would tell the CLEAR story of this run-down house/neighborhood, but that's not an option. This is not new. Not contemporary. Not in the heart of Austin. Inside has a modern (remodel) that looks fine online. Upon arrival: Majorly cracked floors/window(s)/doors, rusty bathroom, dirty venue. Paint/doors peeling. My husband says it was the worst carpentry he's ever seen (floors didn't meet walls, old carpet left in closets, white spackle all over grey bedroom walls, etc). Old poop piles in overgrown weeded backyard w unsafe stacks of appliances/chemicals/tools, curtain rod, etc. My dog wouldn't go out until my husband picked up the poop, weed & rake. Filthy dog bowls. Unresponsive after my first concern on night one re the iron location. Silence until mid-morning on Sunday even w/VRBO contact. Host said uncle passed away, thus their delay. I empathized as I just had several deaths. Had this list to discuss, but given the timing, situation & me getting ready for a wedding, I said I would follow up. Host said she would reimburse for the iron/supplies. In the end? Denied. Checked out next morn by 8:15 AM to drive 16 HRS home. Texted to FU. They told me to contact VRBO. Sent VRBO summary w/photos & host declined a partial refund when contacted. This is about a lack of accountability, service & care, though I led w/kindness. I never write reviews. Was encouraged to by VRBO many times & waited until day 14 in case business integrity would alter their response.
