Our group loved playing volleyball, swimming in the pool, playing pickle ball and utilizing all of the activities at Camp Sandy! David and his team were super helpful and communicative. Kim said he was also super convenient in location to downtown Austin and other activities around Lake Travis! If you’re with a large group, it’s very easy to get a ride! Thanks David and Camp Sandy. Can’t wait to come back one day!

We had a bachelor party of 11 that stayed there and we all had a great time. The only thing we wished was different would have been the lake actually being full, but since there is a drought in the region the lake was below 50% capacity.

We stayed at this property with 20 people in town to attend our daughter's graduation at UT Austin. The location was about 35 min to campus but since we only needed to be on campus Friday morning for commencement activities, this property was perfect for the remainder of our 3 night stay.Communication with David was great and he met us at the house shortly after arrival to give us a tour (and surprised us with Tiff's Treats during our stay)Lots of activities for all ages (true to pictures posted on website)Outdoor pavilion had full size fridge, sink, and gas stove/oven, in addition to the large Weber grill (great for the graduation party we hosted onsite)Like other reviewers, you do need to be able to navigate stairs and slope/incline both into the house and down to the outdoor activities. All bathrooms located inside the house.We would definitely stay here for a group of our size

Came for a bachelor party with a big group. Everybody loved the space and all the house had to offer. You would find it very hard to get bored here. Tucked away so you have some privacy.Only bummer was the lake was dried up where the house was. Owner was transparent about it though. It also didn't even affect the trip much. Communication overall throughout the process was great.Would book again.

We loved our stay at Camp Sandy! David was extremely helpful and communicative from the moment we booked our stay - gave great recommendations. The property itself was perfect for our group of 15 guys, plenty of fun games & activities to do in the expansive yard a pool and hot tub. Plenty of beds for everyone and space to hang out, eat dinner, etc.Very close to marinas and launch points for a boating trip, which we did Saturday during our stay. And easy access to downtown in 20-30 mins.We would definitely highly recommend Camp Sandy for an active group of friends looking for a great place to stay near Lake Travis!

Our stay for a bachelorette party was hands down a perfect weekend. And a lot of that can be attributed to the communication with the owner, David. He was so helpful and willing to give recommendations. Which we took him up on and it made our weekend as smooth as possible. The property is fantastic and it can be used by anyone for any reason. I stayed at this property with a high school softball team, we had 24 total people and it worked out amazing with the rooms. The girls had the entire downstairs, coaches and myself had the 3 rooms upstairs. We played in a tourney in Lago Vista and the girls had a blast. Pickle ball was the biggest hit, but there were late night volleyball games, hot tubbing, pictures taken all over the beautiful property. We ate dinner outside one night on all the picnic tables and it was so nice out. I would love to visit again when the lake is full but honestly there was so much to do that we didn’t miss it. Highly recommend and David was amazing throughout the whole stay. P.s. If you get the chance look up Chef Rita…she came to the house and cooked dinner and it was delicious!! David has her info.

This place has everything! Great place. Great Host. Great time. We really had a wonderful time. The kids stayed outside all day playing on all the different games. At night we played more games inside.It is a wonderful place and the host David couldn’t be better. *You have to be able to negotiate stairs.

The property is truly spectacular. It has everything you could ever need and more. David was an exceptional host, giving a highly informative tour at check-in and maintaining excellent communication throughout our stay. The property fit 20 grown men comfortably and always had something fun to do at the house. David provided great recommendations even before our trip began. We came to Camp Sandy for the UT football game and a family reunion. The house and property were amazing! The host, David, was super helpful and responded quickly to questions or needs. He even brought us some local food. The house is enormous with lots of kitchen space (4 refrigerators!), lots of king bedrooms and games to play both inside and outside. The pool and hot tub were a hit too. The only problem was that the lake levels are down so we couldn't do some of the water sports like kayaking. That said, I can assure you that you won't be disappointed with your stay.

Had my bachelor party here and it was amazing. The house is beautiful, with a whole property including a pool and a hot tub. David was fantastic, and was very communicative. David got our group breakfast tacos one morning and tiffs cookies on the last night. Highly recommend!

Our family (13 adults and 3 kids) had such an amazing time at Camp Sandy. David was the best host we've ever had and the property is perfect - so much room, so many outdoor and indoor activities, and the house itself was great. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be going back.

Property location was good with access to retail and food trucks. The property is not near water since the lake is low. And we didn't find a path to the water. Great room and kitchen on upper level were wonderful as was the game room in lower level. Be aware that the pool, which got a lot of use, is away from the property (very short hike) and there is a hill to descend, and the return is a climb up. Then there are steps to the upper level. Lots of fun things to do both inside and out. Drawback was the mattresses except for me and my wife who had the master suite (very nice). Overall, I would recommend this with the understanding that we knew what we had going in. Plus, our 7 grandchildren, ages 3 to 18 were never bored. How do we know? Because they never complained, and they want to do this next year. P.S. Bring bottled water because the location has well water that is not tasteful.

The home is well appointed, the owner/mgr is always available to answer questions and the surroundings are lovely and full of so so many things to do. This is our 5th year at Camp Sandy and 3rd year of no water in the cove. But the pool is awesome, so was sand volleyball, corn hole, putting, shuffleboard, and on and on and on. This is a large family get together each year and we all agree it feels like home.

David was helpful every step of the way. He ensured everyone was comfortable. We ranged in age from 5 years to 76years old. There were activities for everyone. The pool was a huge success. Life jackets, water toys & rafts were all provided (even sunscreen). Corn hole, sand volleyball and so much more. Inside there were games, puzzles and 2 karaoke machines. Again, inside toiletries were available. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We made memories. Thank you, David. We loved Camp Sandy.
