Country home on 5+ acres. 20 minutes to downtown Austin and 5 minutes to the famous Salt Lick BBQ. Easy access to multiple vineyards and wedding venues of Driftwood and Dripping Springs. Perfect for family or friends attending weddings, bachelorette parties, girls weekends, even small family reunions. An outdoor dining table seats 14 and large oaks provide ample shade. A sand volleyball court and an open pasture are great for outdoor fun. And, enjoy the serenity of a wet weather creek.

This is a private residence on five acres with plenty of space between the neighbors.

Chapel Dulcinea is on the hill above our property and you can hear the wedding bells ring often. Plenty of space for parking. Ask about hosting events of over 20 people.

A code to an electronic keypad on the front door will be provided for your stay.

My wife and I will be staying in a cabin on adjacent property or in our RV not far away and will be available for questions or assistance. I drive a 2017 Luxury Ford Expedition that seats 7 passengers and am available for trips into town or local vineyards, distilleries and breweries.

We are located in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country and are close to many local wedding venues, vineyards, distilleries, breweries, the Salt Lick BBQ, the Wizard Academy and Chapel Dulcinea. Travel twenty minutes to downtown Austin during evening and weekend traffic.

Plenty of onsite parking with a gated entrance. Your host drives a winery/distillery/brewery tour on weekends in Mercedes Coach Limos through Slow Pokes Wine Tours. For wedding transport check Your Day Charters.  Clint also manages the adjacent property Dove Hollow Ranch on 7+ acres with a large 7 bedroom, 5 bath house that sleeps up to 22.  For larger events such as family reunions, retreats or wedding events you can rent both together.

Located twenty minutes to Austin, thirty minutes to San Marcos, forty five minutes to New Braunfels and one hour to San Antonio or Fredericksburg. We have lived in this area for 30+ years and are very familiar with local attractions and can make recommendations at your request.

Relaxing family getaway

Wonderful large house fully stocked with everything we needed. Kitchen is more than fully equipped and the outdoor area is a great place to enjoy time with family. We played cornhole and horseshoes and enjoyed fresh eggs from the chickens. Clint was very helpful answering our questions. We had a great time!

Husbands 40th

We had a great time celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday. The house was inviting and the property offered many options for everyone. The highlight was playing a multi family volleyball tournament. It is a great property.

Home away from Home!

Clint and Sylvia are wonderful to work with when staying at this property. This is a return visit for us once again bringing together family from across the country to a special event in the Austin area. Everyone enjoyed the ability to relax and reconnect either inside or outside (weather permitting). Next time we are all in Austin, we hope this property will be available. Pleasant wedding celebration weekend

The property owner was helpful and very accommodating. The house had everything we needed and then some for me and my family from my elderly father to my very young granddaughters. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside amenities, such as the firepit, with our visiting family and friends. If we should need another property of this size in the area, we would definitely reserve this property again.

Texas hill country fun

This is a Very spacious and welcoming home with outdoor seating and games. The 6 of us dreamed of coming back with our kids some day. Very close to Dripping Springs and Austin Country Club. Clint was an excellent host making us feel right at home. Great communication. He has great restaurant recommendations - Salt Lick BBQ WOW So good!

Perfect for family

We loved this place. Great property and home for our family stay. Owner was excellent to communicate with. Home is kept clean and well stocked. Horseshoes were a great hit for entertainment. This would also be an excellent place for a family reunion which we are discussing for a future stay.

The Perfect Property for a Large Group - and a beautiful one at that!

My friends and I stayed at Clint’s beautiful property while taking a weekend to explore Austin, TX. The check in process and communication with the property owner was easy and smooth. The property itself was perfect for my group, allowing us a comfortable place to stay as well as a fun place to play, utilizing the volleyball courts and huge open field just right behind the house. The house itself was clean and we had no issues with showering, washing clothes, or cleaning dishes. All around, this property was a perfect fit for my group of ten friends and we will absolutely consider coming back to this property should our travels bring us back to the Austin area.

Great place to stay!

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and needed a place to stay that could accommodate our family (teenagers to grandparents) and multiple vehicles. This place was perfect for us and everyone had a place to spread out inside and all the outside space was a bonus. Many mornings spent on the deck watching the birds and enjoying the peaceful landscape of the property. Clint was an amazing host and was available if we needed anything. Great experience overall and I would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect groomsmen's house for wedding weekend

We rented this lovely, spacious property to house my son and his groomsmen in Nov 2020. It had EVERYTHING they needed and more - volleyball, lighted outdoor dining space, yard games, full kitchen - and plenty of beds and bathrooms! They had a great time, and it was very convenient to the wedding venue in Dripping Springs. Clint was a super host! He even gave me a pre-check in tour so I could make sure everything was ready before the men arrived. And when one groomsman left his rented tux behind, Clint went out of his way to help get it back to him! Lovely location, spacious, peaceful, yet with enough elbow room that a party of exuberant young men didn't bother the neighbors. I highly recommend this charming home for a family get away, reunion or special event.

Awesome place and host!

Place was awesome! Had everything you can think of! Sand volleyball, washers, soccer net, huge out door table, tree house, and fire pit. Clint was also very responsive and helpful. WOULD BOOK AGAIN!

Hill Country Gem

The house and property pictures really do not do justice to this location. It is even more beautiful and a perfect place to host an event or simply relax in the beautiful hill country. The house and the amenities provided made for a special weekend to celebrate the wedding of my brother. The space to have an outdoor rehearsal dinner highlighted the beauty of the property. My family really appreciated the care given to the home to ensure it was clean, sanitary, and welcoming for our trip. Clinton (the Owner) was a gracious host and fully attentive to anything we needed. I really appreciated him taking the time to come out, meet us, and show us where we could access the items we would need to host the dinner. There is no doubt we will be back to enjoy this property again.

I enjoyed our stay very much. The Home was so inviting, warm and comfortable. Had only a small issue and that was very little water pressure while taking baths/showers. no one knew how to navigate the TV downstairs! lol other than that the property was beautiful, easy to get to and close to everything! would surely stay again!!
