"We appreciated having the "scrambled eggs" though they are not fresh whole eggs. Some kind of filler or supplement added. But we ate them. :) I would have liked some grated cheese to add on top of the eggs. We liked having the hot sauce for the eggs. If there could be some fresh fruit salad (melon, berries, citrus, pineapple for example), that would be great. I did not have any pastries and would have preferred bread to make toast."

"The property obviously needs updating, but the staff were all friendly and the room met my needs. All that being said, it was priced accordingly. I will revisit. "

"Overall place was nice. Back bathroom sink the hot water didn’t work. Turned off underneath sink. Looks like had a leak. We did not want to mess with it. Kitchen area could’ve been cleaner. I would stay here again. "

The property is always in immaculate condition and it’s fully equipped with all the essentials to make you feel at home during your stay. Ms. Janice and Shyelah are amazing hosts and I can’t see myself staying anywhere else when planning a fishing trip to Toledo Bend."
