「Good breakfast, walkable to everything 」

「Spent a cold wet winters night in the waterfront. Beautifully appointed smaller rooms in a 150+yr old building. Small but comfortable with modern shower and toilet facilities. Staff were amazing. Lovely sitting room downstairs with coffee and a good heater. Didn’t have breakfast here but the bacon was smelling fantastic as I left. Well recommended. 」

「The room was really well appointed, well housekept, the staff was always friendly, helpful and attentive and the restaurant did an outstanding job. I ate there every night for 4 nights. Mauve and Magda were above and beyond friendly and helpful. I couldn’t ask for more. A couple of things: the rooms were too warm for me even with window open and thermostat turned all the way down, I’m not sure why but I have trouble sleeping unless it’s blanket temp. 「The home is clean and comfortable. The host was lovely. There are no amenities (no breakfast) and the walk to town is considerable (and a rather large hill!). But, it was an excellent place to lay our weary heads. Check in and checkout were simple. 」
