Although an older hotel that needs a bit of love and attention, it was excellent value for an overnight before flying out of Auckland airport. The shuttle to the airport was regular (15-20 minutes apart) and reliable - plus good instructions were given in advance on how to catch the bus from the airport to the hotel.

The staff are always helpful. We are only ever staying one night around flights from the airport. The property is quite old, but it's a good budget option for overnighting before or after a flight. I've already booked our next stay for a flight in May.

We stayed in room 88. The bed was horrible I could feel the springs coming through the mattress the floor was so moulded it was sinking in places and the door frames were rotten and falling apart you could smell the mildew in the hall ways and room. The sliding door to the patio was so hard to open due to it being so old and the patio was rotting away and covered in spiders. If I wasn't so exhausted from travel and it being 9pm with a 4 am flight I would not have stayed. I definitely do not recommend. Only gave 2 stars because the staff at the desk were so friendly and the convenience of the airport shuttle.

Worst hotel i have been to, would not go there again. Walls are super thin you can hesr what happens in other rooms. Very old and run down. Staff are good. Shuttle service is good. Pillows smelled of mold and mildew. Shower is just luke warm sad does not get hot
